The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
This was manufactured from 1969 to 1975.
This is the early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red,
commonly known as the "Red Sub."
The dial is MARK6.
Feet first, not meters first
This is the final red sub dial manufactured between 1974 and 1975.
A notable feature of Close 6 is that the horizontal bars in the Ft notation are all on the same line.
The condition of the dial and tritium luminous material of this unit is as follows:
It is in very good condition.
There is some peeling at the 6 o'clock position on the dial that is not noticeable to the naked eye.
The atmosphere has not been compromised, and the price has been kept low.
The clear contrast between the beautiful dial and the slightly burnt tritium luminous material
