Introducing the short-lived model "Ref. 16550" which was produced for only a few years!
The dial color of "Ref.16550" is
Available in black, white and ivory.
The product we are introducing this time is an ivory dial, which is considered to be the rarest of all.
As for the ivory color that interests you,
This particular watch has a rich dial with a carbonara color.
Ivory dials vary from one to another, so the darker the color, the higher the price.
This is a comparison photo with our Ref. 16550/white dial (right).
Comparing them like this, can you see how strong this particular specimen is?
I think this color is quite intense.
Furthermore, the chronometer notation is "SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" on the upper line.
This refers to the fact that the spaces between the letters "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" at the bottom are aligned vertically.
This dial is called a "center split."
This dial is also available in the black dial.
Many people are looking for an ivory x center split dial.
This is a rare dial.
The dial condition is that there are small scratches visible through a magnifying glass,
Overall, it is in good condition.
The luminous material is all tritium.
There is a crack in the luminous hour hand.
The color of the index luminous material matches well and does not spoil the atmosphere.
The index luminous material, which has changed to almost the same color as the dial, is also in beautiful condition!
The condition is that there are some scratches and small marks due to use,
The condition is good.
*There is a slightly inconspicuous distortion in the center link of the bracelet.
The bezel and middle case also make a great impression!!
As you can see, the hairline and edge lines of the lug feet are perfectly defined!
The FF/single bracelet was replaced in later years.
The bracelet is a little worn, but is relatively sturdy.
Accessories include box, Explorer booklet, Oyster booklet,
Comes with chronometer tag, calendar, repair details and repair estimate.
Wrist shot!!
The ivory dial is perfectly matched with the indexes of the same color.
It's a wonderful specimen!
Incidentally, Commit also has another Ref. 16550 with an ivory dial .
Although the color is a little pale, the price is attractive and the parts are well matched, making this a recommended item!
If you are looking for ivory, be sure to check it out!!
