About Purchase

There is nothing special you need to bring when making a purchase. However, if you are an overseas resident and would like to make a duty-free purchase, please bring your passport as we need to confirm information such as your date of entry into Japan.

Since we take responsibility for the products we sell, we will never refuse to buy back or accept products that have already been sold.

In principle, this is not possible.
However, once your purchase is confirmed, we ask that you visit the store and make any transfers within two bank business days (by the day after the purchase is confirmed), so items can only be held for you during that period.
*This does not apply if you have already paid a deposit. (Deposits will not be refunded after the due date.)

Our store also sells products on Yahoo Shopping, Yahoo Auctions, Chrono24, etc., so even if an item is listed on our website, it may already be sold due to the time difference between when your order is placed and when the sale is processed. Please note this in advance.

Yes, but we cannot hold items for customers who are considering purchasing. Please note that the item may be sold before you visit the store. If you live far away or are unable to visit us, please contact us by phone or email and we will answer all your questions and concerns about the products. In addition, we take product photos on our website in order to provide as much detail as possible. Please refer to this as well.

All products sold in our store are genuine.
However, in the case of antique and old-fashioned watches, the supply of genuine parts may have stopped and substitutes may have to be used.
In that case, we will explain in advance.

If you don't mind buying a new item, second-hand is a better deal. Second-hand is much cheaper than regular or parallel stores. Another advantage is that you can get models that are not available new. Almost all " vintage Rolexes ," which have recently seen a rise in price, are second-hand. Discontinued models tend to be rare because they are never re-supplied (excluding reissues). This kind of enjoyment is unique to second-hand goods.
Furthermore, you can purchase a watch of a higher rank for the same price. The greatest attraction of used brand watches is that you can purchase a watch of a higher rank for the same budget. For example, if you have 600,000 yen to buy an Omega, you can also purchase a Rolex with a list price of 1 million yen.

Payment and warranty information

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is obviously defective, as we require the customer to be fully aware of the product before making a purchase.

We will repair or adjust the product free of charge within the warranty period only for defects that occur under normal use conditions or natural failures.

When you purchase, we will give you our original warranty card. The warranty period is 6 months for products with a purchase price of less than 1 million yen (tax included) and 12 months for products with a purchase price of 1 million yen or more. If the product is within the period, we will guarantee repairs in accordance with our warranty regulations.

About consignment sales

"Deposit sales" refers to the sales power and excellent customer data that Commit Ginza has cultivated since its founding.
❶ We use our excellent customer data and sales power to find potential buyers, and ❷ once we find a buyer, we buy the watch and make payment.
When purchasing, there is inventory risk, so the price will be lower than with consignment sales, but consignment sales allow customers to receive a larger amount than with purchases, making it a highly recommended selling method.
We are confident that we are offering the highest prices in Japan for watch deposit sales and purchases. Please compare us with other companies.

You can get a higher price than if you were to buy the item. In general, buying items are usually offered at a lower price than if you were to sell the item on deposit, due to factors such as inventory risk. Since there is no inventory risk with selling the item on deposit, you can maximize the amount you can give to your customer.

It takes a certain amount of time to find a buyer. Once a buyer is found, we will purchase the property and give the payment to the customer, so if you are in a hurry to receive the payment, we recommend selling it through "purchase".
However, by keeping the selling price low, the time until the sale is completed tends to be shorter. Please consult with Abe, the owner and appraiser , about your wishes first.

In the case of a "purchase," our store will purchase your watch and pay you on the spot, but with a "holding sale," we will purchase the watch as soon as we find a buyer, so the "time" until you receive your payment is significantly different.
However, there is a high chance that you will receive a greater amount than with a general "purchase" transaction, so this is a highly recommended selling method.

We will try to accommodate your requests as much as possible, but basically, our appraisers who are thoroughly familiar with the market will determine the appropriate price and propose it to you. Please note that we do not necessarily guarantee that we will be able to sell your property at the price you wish to sell it for.

We will not allow cancellations (sales suspension = returns) within one month from the start of sales (start of posting on our website).
If the item has not yet been sold after one month has passed, you can choose from three options: "continue to hold the item," "switch to purchasing," or "return the item." In any case, there will be no additional costs.

All products entrusted to us by our customers are insured, so we will pay you the same amount as the entrustment fee. This insurance also applies to any problems that occur when we mail the products.

We cannot accept watches with a market value of less than 1 million yen for consignment sales. In addition, we may not be able to handle some watches depending on stock availability and market conditions, but we generally handle any brand or model. Please contact us for details. Please note that we cannot accept pocket watches for consignment sales or purchases.

About purchase

The price takes into account even small scratches, so it is best to keep it clean and avoid damaging it.
If you have any accessories such as a warranty, box, or overhaul certificate, the appraisal value will increase. If you have any, we recommend that you bring them with you.

We can also buy just the watch itself. However, since it will be sold as a wristwatch, it cannot be denied that this will affect the appraisal. We recommend that you consult with us in advance.

A purchase only means that you are selling your watch.

Trade-in means that when you buy a new watch, the appraised value of the watch you are selling is used to purchase the watch.
From the store's perspective, a trade-in involves the sale of two items, making it easier to make a smaller profit than a transaction involving just one item.
In general, trade-ins often result in a higher appraisal value than purchases because of these aspects.

We do buy broken watches. However, we sell them in working order, so we may ask you to overhaul them or replace parts.
First, please come to the store and consult with us as it is.

Basically, we handle any brand or model, but depending on the stock situation and market conditions, we may not be able to handle some items, so please contact us for details. Please note that we are unable to handle pocket watches.

About the assessment

Pawn shops and some popular watch stores may not be able to properly evaluate vintage items, so they may buy them at a low price. Our store specializes in watches and has handled many rare watches, so please feel free to contact us.

Simply having an overhaul does not necessarily mean the appraisal will be higher. We will make a comprehensive judgment, including whether or not an overhaul is necessary. First, please bring the item to our store in its current condition.

If you bring it to the store, you can pay in cash on the spot. If you wish to sell it by mail or have it purchased, we will send you a purchase receipt after agreeing to the purchase. We will transfer the money to your specified account when we receive the purchase receipt back.

*Even if you bring it to the store, if the amount is high, we may transfer it to you or prepare the cash on another day. Please consult with us in advance.

If your name is not on the warranty, you may not be able to have the item repaired by the official manufacturer, so if you erase your personal information, the appraisal value may be lower.

The most important thing is the warranty. Depending on the brand, this may also include archives.
Other items include the box, repair details, booklet, pass case, tag, etc. Basically, it is desirable to have all the accessories that came with the item when you purchased it.

Please rest assured that we will carefully explain all the important points that affect the valuation, taking into account the current market price, the situation at other stores, and overseas auctions.

If you have confirmed your purchase, please apply through our "Purchase Application Form", and once we have confirmed it, your order will be treated as "Reserved". After that, please transfer the product price to our designated bank account within two business days, and once we have confirmed the payment, we will immediately begin preparing for delivery. Delivery preparation will begin on the same day or the next day at the earliest. However, please note that it may take several days depending on the time of day we confirm your payment and your location.

Yes, that is possible. There are cases where we accept watches from customers who are unable to come to the store in person, even if they are our products.
First, please contact us by phone (03-6264-5310) or through the application form for consignment sales and purchases .
After that, it will be possible if the following conditions are met:

① We will carry out basic checks such as checking the manufacturer and model number. ② If we determine that we can handle the item, please send it to us by mail with postage to be collected. ③ We will carry out an appraisal and contact you again. ④ Once we have come to an agreement on price and terms, we will move on to selling the item on deposit. *If you are not satisfied with the price, etc., we will return the item to you in the same condition as when it was mailed.

Although shipping fees will be incurred twice, we will cover both, so please feel free to contact us.

It is also possible to buy just the watch itself. In fact, in our store, we have cases where we have purchased or entrusted to sell just the watch itself, such as Rolex, so please rest assured. However, please note that the condition of "no accessories" will affect the appraisal amount.

We will assess the item immediately upon arrival and contact you.
If you are satisfied with the purchase price, we will send you the necessary documents by mail. Please sign them and return them to us in the special reply envelope.
Once we have confirmed your signature, we will transfer the funds to your specified account.

*Same-day transfers accepted until 3:00 p.m.

*If the amount is large, it may take several days.

Please prepare a photo ID, such as a driver's license, and a document that can prove your current address (valid). If these conditions are not met (in the case of a health insurance card or passport), you will need to submit additional supporting documents that can prove your current address (such as a utility bill receipt in your name).

In terms of price, the "holding sale" option is definitely more cost-effective. If you are not in a hurry to sell your watch, we recommend the "holding sale" option.
