This is an early model with a red SUBMARINER logo, commonly known as the "Red Sub," manufactured from 1969 to around 1975.

The red sub-model has a wide variety of dial variations, but they can be broadly divided into
MK1 to MK3 are meter-first ( 200m = 660ft ),
From MK4 to MK6, the time is feet first ( 660ft = 200m ).
