Hello!
Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce a recommended watch!
Today we have a vintage Explorer/Ref. 1016 tropical mirror dial!

Rolex Explorer Tropical Mirror All Tritium

Cal.1570 FF80/7206 Clasp Code 66.4 Caseback 66.2
Accessories: Watch only
SOLD OUT!!
The model we're introducing today features a mirror dial, which was produced until around 1967.
The mirror dial is attractive for its beautiful, mirror-like luster,
and is a rare dial that is overwhelmingly scarce among vintage models.

Nonetheless, I've been feeling a very strong demand for the 1016 recently.
It's a popular vintage model that sells relatively quickly after it arrives.

This latest arrival is a mirror dial, which seems to be becoming increasingly rare.
The jet-black mirror dial with excellent condition that arrived the other day was quite good,
but the watch introduced today is a tropical dial with a wonderful brown aging.

While tropical dials vary in their degree of brown transformation,
this mirror dial is a tropical mirror that has undergone a strong brown change.
Among the already scarce 1016 mirror dials,
a mirror dial that has undergone such a tropical transformation is rare.

Here's a comparison shot with our store's Ref.1016 jet-black mirror (right).
What do you think?
Can you see the clear difference in color compared to the jet-black dial on the right?

This is a dial that shows off a superb aging, truly deserving of the term "vintage."
The brown color becomes more intense from the center of the dial to the right,
but such changes are common with tropical mirrors.

The tropical dial and gold lettering create a really cool combination.

While the dial shows some signs of age-related deterioration,
the mirror's luster remains strong, showcasing a golden sheen.

The luminous material on the indices is in good condition!!
It's in excellent shape with almost no chipping of the luminous material.

The luminous material is all tritium.
The hands are also beautifully aged!
The balance between the luminous material on the hands and indices is also well-maintained!

Although the condition shows wear commensurate with its age,
the case is a solid and impressive example.

As you can see, the mid-case has not undergone excessive polishing,
and its condition is good.

A rivet bracelet is an essential detail for models of this era!

The buckle is stamped 66.2.

The rivet bracelet has some natural stretching,
but that's part of the charm of vintage pieces.

Wrist shot! So cool!
This is a rare tropical mirror, truly deserving of the term "vintage"!

Vintage Explorer "Ref.1016/66"
This is a recommended tropical mirror that allows you to enjoy wonderful aging!
Such exquisitely aged tropical mirrors rarely arrive at our store!!
If you're looking for one, make sure to snap it up while it's available!
Customers looking for a super cool 1016 mirror dial,
please consider this one.
