The 3rd generation Explorer "Ref.1016" was manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990. 

This vintage Explorer underwent various specification changes during its long production period.

This arrival is an early mirror dial, which is quite rare.
Ref.1016 itself has been scarce recently,
and a mirror dial is a rare find even for our shop.

"Mirror Dial"

A glossy dial found on models manufactured until around 1967.
Among vintage models, its beautiful mirror-like luster is appealing,
and it is a rare dial, with a significantly smaller number available.

The gold-painted logo and minute markers are also features of the mirror dial.
It's a dial with a different kind of elegant beauty compared to current Rolex models!
The stepped gold lettering looks splendid in person.

Mirror dials often show individual differences in gloss.
Currently, many seem to have cracks or deterioration, but
this one has a mirror dial that is among the most beautiful.

The dial's gloss is also dazzling and in superb condition!!

While there are scratches on the crystal, the dial condition is excellent!
Honestly, it's rare to come across such a beautiful mirror dial.

The lume on the indexes also remains in top-level condition.

The hands and hand lume show aging due to their age,
but there are no noticeable cracks, which is good!!

While there are signs of use commensurate with its age,
the case and bracelet are in solid, impressive condition.

The case is in good condition, certainly not excessively polished!

The lugs are also in good condition!!

This riveted bracelet is essential for a mirror dial!!

The buckle clasp is stamped with '66.4'!

The condition of the riveted bracelet, which matches the year, is also excellent!!

It comes with a chronometer certificate!!
Although there is no warranty card, the inclusion of this certificate is a big plus!!
