The third-generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990

During the long manufacturing period, various changes were made to the specifications.
It's a vintage Explorer.

This time we have an early mirror dial, which is rare.
Currently, there is a shortage of 1016 in stock,
This is the first time in a long time that we have received mirror dials in stock.

"Mirror Dial"

A glossy dial was available on models manufactured up until around 1967.
Among the vintage models that have a beautiful mirror-like shine,
This is a rare dial with extremely limited availability.

The gold-painted logo and minute lines are also features of the mirror dial.
The dial has a refined beauty that is different from that of current Rolex watches!
The stepped-down gold lettering is a wonderful finish when you see it in person.

There are many individual differences in the glossiness of mirror dials.
Currently, it seems like there are a lot of cracks and deterioration in the units.
This particular watch has a top-level beautiful mirror dial.

There is very slight deterioration due to age, as seen through a magnifying glass.
The gloss is brilliant and it's in great condition!!

There are some scratches on the crystal, but the dial is in excellent condition!
