hello everyone
The days are still very summery, and it's been really hot every day. We've entered the Obon holiday season, and Ginza feels busier than it has been in a while. To be honest, we have to be careful about everything we do, and it's tough, but I'm standing at the storefront hoping to have fun talking to the customers who come to visit.
Well, this summer is unlikely to be as easy as usual with "fun summers!", so in the hopes of at least lifting spirits, we would like to introduce some gorgeous Patek Philippe watches, including some that have been sold at Commit Ginza in the past.
Looking at the archives of past commits, I realized that I had done more than I thought. (laughs) It's an interesting lineup, so please stick with me until the end.

Annual Calendar Chronograph Platinum Ref.5961P-001
Manufacturer's suggested retail price: 17,666,000 yen (tax included)
Commit Ginza has sold several "Ref. 5960" watches in the past, which have a PT (platinum) case and a leather strap, and "Ref. 5960/1A" watches in the SS (stainless steel) case and a bracelet. This "Ref. 5961P" has a platinum case, a matte blue dial with 8 baguette-cut diamond indexes, a bezel with 36 baguette-cut diamonds, and a folding buckle with 22 baguette-cut diamonds. At the time of sale, it was priced at 10,500,000 yen (excluding tax).
Annual Calendar Chronograph 18KRG Ref.5961R-010
Manufacturer's suggested retail price: 16,038,000 yen (tax included)
This is the model introduced earlier in 18KRG (rose gold) specification. It has an ebony black dial with 8 baguette-cut diamond indexes, a bezel with 36 baguette-cut diamonds, and a folding buckle with 22 baguette-cut diamonds. At the time of sale, it was in factory sealed (unopened plastic) condition and was priced at 11,550,000 yen (excluding tax).
Calatrava Platinum Ref.5298P-012
Domestic suggested retail price: 12,914,000 yen (tax included)
It has a PT (platinum) case and a black dial with diamond indexes, a bezel with 38 baguette-cut diamonds, and a pin buckle with 6 baguette-cut diamonds. We recently sold this watch in our shop, but it was a special one with the original folding buckle with 22 baguette-cut diamonds that was originally equipped on the previously introduced "Ref. 5961P". It did not come with a warranty, but the price was reasonable at 6,235,000 yen (excluding tax).
Nautilus Petite Complication 18KWG Ref.5722G-001
Domestic suggested retail price: 14,472,000 yen (tax included)
This "Ref. 5722G" has a black-blue dial in an 18KWG (white gold) case. It has a bezel with 32 baguette-cut diamonds. The "Ref. 5712G" currently on sale has a slate dial, so the black-blue dial, which can be called The Nautilus, and the bezel filled with large baguette-cut diamonds make for a very impactful and cool model. It was produced relatively recently, and the price at the time of sale was 13,450,000 yen (excluding tax).
Nautilus Medium Size 18KWG Ref.3800/130G-001
The case and bracelet are made of 18KWG (white gold), and the dial is black with three baguette-cut diamonds (at the 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions) and eight diamond indexes. The bezel is set with 28 baguette-cut diamonds. The medium case, which now feels a little small, and the bezel with the large baguette-cut diamonds make a big impact. This is a rare model that was not even listed in the Patek Philippe catalog at the time of sale, and I think it will be difficult to find even if you search both domestically and internationally. The price at the time of sale was 11,800,000 yen (excluding tax).
Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Platinum Ref.5971P-001
This is a luxury version of the "Ref. 5970" equipped with a Lemania-based movement, which is the predecessor of the current perpetual calendar chronograph "Ref. 5270". It has a PT (platinum) case, a black dial with one baguette-cut diamond at the 12 o'clock position and six diamond indexes, a bezel with 36 baguette-cut diamonds, and a pin buckle with six baguette-cut diamonds, making it an extremely luxurious model. Although I have seen a few of these models in the past, I have not seen them often recently, so it is one of the models I would definitely like to try wearing myself.
Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Platinum Ref.5271P-001
Reference: Sotheby's
Domestic suggested retail price: 31,251,000 yen (tax included)
PT (platinum) case x black lacquered dial. One baguette-cut diamond index is placed at the 12 o'clock position. This is a superb watch that combines a bezel with 58 baguette-cut diamonds and a folding buckle with 22 baguette-cut diamonds. It is currently on sale, but I think it is a model that is rarely seen on the market. As I mentioned in a previous column, I was actually aiming to win the watch auction in Hong Kong the other day. However, my dream did not come true because I was just one step away from winning (tears). This is a model that I would like to handle at Commit in the near future.
summary
Patek Philippe is already known as a "top-class watch," but I think the watch I introduced this time is a model that has an even more "luxurious" feel to it. Did you enjoy it?
By the way, there are still many other luxury models from Patek Philippe that I would like to introduce. If you search the world, you will find many watches with specifications that you have never seen before, and in fact, there are models that you will never see until you die.
Thankfully, Commit Ginza often has the opportunity to handle rare pieces of Patek Philippe .
By the way, we cannot list all items, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us by phone, email, or of course, visit our store.
Well, although the hot days continue, please be sure to take care of your health and enjoy your summer as much as possible.
