The Nautilus Chronograph TIFFANY & CO. "Ref. 5980/1R-001" features an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet and a luxurious black gradient dial.

This elegant dial, which can appear gray or brown depending on the light, features the subtly placed "TIFFANY & CO." lettering.

Many people may be wondering where on the dial the "TIFFANY & CO." logo will be printed on the double-name model, but in this case, it is slightly above the center. Am I the only one who thinks that the exquisite placement makes it look classy?

Now, I would like to introduce you to the Nautilus Chronograph.

The stainless steel "Ref. 5980/1A-001" was released for the first time with a chronograph in the fall of 2006, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus.

The design is reminiscent of the Annual Calendar Chronograph "Ref. 5960P-001", and one of its features is that it uses the base movement "Cal. CH28-520", which allows the chronograph hand in the center to be used as the second hand. Although production ended in 2014, it is still popular and in high demand. In the past, there was a sales record of a double-name model with [TIFFANY & CO.], but it is now rarely seen.

The Nautilus Chronograph "Ref. 5980R-001" was released in 2010 with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and alligator strap.

The black-brown dial and silver-toned subdials create a gorgeous design that is both sporty and elegant. After the release of this model, the Nautilus Chronograph "Ref. 5980/1R-001" was released in 2013.

The watch weighs about 250g when fully assembled, due to its 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet. The case is 12.2mm thick, which is quite an impressive finish, but the 40.5mm case makes it easy to read, and the bracelet fits perfectly on the wrist, so you won't feel any discomfort even when wearing it for long periods of time.

If you look at the side of the case, you can see that the thickness of the links gradually gets thinner from the case to the buckle. I think this kind of attention to detail is also a characteristic of Patek Philippe, who does not allow for compromise.

The sapphire glass skeleton back allows you to see the "Cal. CH 28-520 C" with a chronograph with flyback function. It is a famous movement that Patek Philippe is proud of. Another point is that the buckle has been changed to the latest specification (current).

This watch sold in 2021 also has [TIFFANY & CO.] (the name of the shop that sold it) printed on it. By the way, in order to be evaluated as a double-name model, it is a prerequisite that the double name is written on the dial, but it is also very important that the shop name is printed on the warranty card. In addition, this watch also comes with a "letter" sent to the purchaser from [TIFFANY & CO.].

There are some areas where the gold has discolored due to storage, and there are some fine scratches that appear to have been made during storage, but this is an unused item that has never been worn. Accessories include a warranty card, a letter from Tiffany & Co., a leather-like pass case, booklets, an adjustment pin (to be included later), extra links, a tag with a serial number, and a Tiffany blue paper box that can hold the original outer box unique to the W-name, making it a must-have for collectors.
