The "Ref.14270" was manufactured from the E series to the P series (around 1991 to 2000).
The one that arrived this time is an early model, manufactured around 1991, called the "Blackout."
It is a rare model with an overwhelmingly small number of early production units,
even among the "Ref.14270" with all tritium and a single buckle.

"Blackout"
A dial with black lines, not white, on the 3, 6, and 9 indexes,
which has been confirmed on the early lots "E series" and "X series" of "Ref.14270."
Incidentally, as a little-known fact, this model is overwhelmingly common in E34 and E81, for some reason.
This particular watch is also an E34.

There are two types of "Blackout" dials: silver letter and white letter, for the crown mark and dial notation.
The one we are introducing this time is the incredibly cool silver letter dial.
The thickness of the silver letter font also varies, such as being thickly painted,
but this particular watch has the thinnest letters.

The silver letter x blackout changes the atmosphere so much
that it feels like a completely different watch from a Ref.14270.
In addition to the crown mark and logo, everything from the minute markers to T-SWISS-T<25 is in silver letters.

Important point! The dial condition is very good,
and it is maintained in a clean state overall.
It's strange, but there are few blackout dials that show deterioration.

The luminous material is all tritium.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good, with no cracks in particular.
The seconds hand has the popular dot at the tip!!
Although the blackout model often has a dot at the tip,
this seconds hand is still a welcome feature!

It always looks good. So cool~!

Although there are minor scratches from use on the case and bracelet,
it is in very good condition overall.

As you can see, the mid-case
maintains its original form perfectly!

The hairline of the lugs is beautiful, and the edges are sharp!

The buckle clasp code is "O11."

The single bracelet is in excellent condition with almost no slack, showing good consistency.

The accessories include the box, warranty card, EX booklet (92), Oyster booklet (91), and calendar (91-92).

Wrist shot!!
The 3, 6, and 9 indices with black lines are irresistible!
The shining silver letters on the glossy black lacquer dial
are also incredibly cool.

5-digit Explorer Ref.14270 E3 early rare "Blackout" model.
The silver letter blackout always looks cool!
This is a wonderful and superb piece from the early 90s, becoming rarer each year!
It's produced in small numbers, highly rare, and above all, cool!!
It's definitely a model to keep an eye on and acquire while it's available.
It's highly recommended, with excellent overall condition and a complete warranty card!
Customers looking for a silver letter blackout, please consider it.
