The Datejust "Ref.16013" was produced until the late 1980s.
This particular model features the rare "Boiler Gauge" dial, named for its resemblance to a boiler's pressure gauge.
This dial was mainly adopted for the Datejust,
and features a characteristic railway minute track on the inner circumference
and Breguet numeral indices placed around it.
It exudes an indescribable retro charm;
a dial that always captivates me.
While boiler gauge dials exist in white, ivory, and blue,
the one we are featuring today is the most rare and
the least common blue dial.

Though it's a deep blue dial,
when light hits it, a beautiful blue hue emerges from within.
Nevertheless, this piece... the blue color has a profound depth.
It's a dial with an indescribable magical allure
that strangely captivates you!
Gold lettering certainly stands out on a blue dial!
Close up, you can appreciate the unique glossy texture
of the enamel-coated Stella dial.
The inner railway minute track with Breguet numerals is simply irresistible!
The hands are tritium hands, appropriate for the period.
The dial condition shows repairs to the luminous material on the indexes at the 5, 6, and 7 o'clock positions,
and there is a scratch at the 7 o'clock position, but overall it is in beautiful condition.
The case and bracelet show some minor scuffs and scratches from use,
but they are in excellent condition overall.
The middle case is in this condition.
It is in excellent condition, maintaining its original form.
The lugs are also thick and perfectly aligned!!
The fine hairline finish is also in beautiful condition.
The buckle clasp code is "K2".
The age matches perfectly!
The Jubilee bracelet is also in excellent condition with almost no stretch!
