Today we have a vintage Sea-Dweller with a pumpkin dial.

The first Rolex Sea-Dweller model, "Ref. 1665", has arrived!
Speaking of Sea-Dweller, it is a model equipped with a special mechanism called a "helium gas escape bubble" that automatically releases helium gas during saturation diving.
The early model of "Ref.1665" is famous for its "Red Seed" model, which has "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red.
Today we are introducing a model that was manufactured from around 1977 to around 1983.
This is a later model in which the logo has been changed to a white logo.
What we are introducing this time is the service dial model.
There are two types of service dials: tritium and luminous.
It is tritium luminous.
This particular example has a pumpkin dial with intense tritium luminescence, which is rare for a service dial.
Even the service dial can be burnt to such a deep color.
Interesting. And cool.
The dial condition is in good condition even with a magnifying glass.
The hands are also luminous with tritium and are in good condition.
The bezel insert is a period-matched MK3.
The luminous points are also burnt and match perfectly with the pumpkin dial.
Wow, it has a great atmosphere.
The condition is good, with some scuffs and scratches from use, but no major scratches and the case and bracelet are in good condition.
The middle case is in the condition shown.
It is in excellent condition with very little polished feel.
*Please note that there is an engraving on the back cover.
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all.
The lug legs are thick and firm!!
The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and a case that just won't hold up!!
I love this side view because it gives off a unique feel that only a vintage model can have.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a rugged and cool model!!
