The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
This is a white Sub that has been around since 1975.
The Ref. 1680 was produced from 1969 to 1980.
The White Sub was a short-lived model with a production period of only a few years.
This model was manufactured around 1978-79.
This is one of the last Ref.1680s.
Although it was only produced for a few years, this white sub has a wide variety of dial variations.
The dial is MK2, where the Submariner notation is larger than the waterproof notation.
Well, the item we are introducing this time has a beautifully burnt tritium luminous coating.
It's a pumpkin dial.
What do you think? This intense tan!!
It's cool...
These days, it is rare to come across a Ref. 1680 with such a strong tan.
The bezel is a period-matching insert for the MK3!!
Just adding this bezel makes the watch look amazing!
The inserts also have an exquisite gradient aging.
It's so cool !!
*Luminous points are aftermarket products.
The dial is in very good condition overall and remains in exceptionally clean condition.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good!
There is some natural rust on the needles, but this is also part of the vintage charm!!
The condition is that the exterior has been finished and overhauled at our affiliated workshop, so
The case and bracelet are in good overall condition.
The lugs on the middle case are not overly finished.
The edges are firmly set.
This condition is very rare for a model manufactured around 1978-79!!
The grooveless buckle is also an essential feature!
The clasp code is "VB" and matches the era!!
93150/Hard bracelet is in good condition with only slight creasing!
Wrist shot!! You look great!
It's an impressive, rugged and extremely cool piece!!
The first Submariner Date "Ref.1680/78-79"
