The Ref. 116506 was released in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Daytona. Its most distinctive features are the chestnut-colored Cerachrom bezel and ice blue dial, which are only available in the PT (platinum) model. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Daytona, and it has been discontinued due to the introduction of a new design, so it is a model that we are looking forward to seeing in the future.

The "Ref. 116506A" was released in 2014, the year after the aforementioned "Ref. 116506" was released. At first glance, it looks like it just has bucket-cut diamonds on the index, but the sub-dials are ice blue in color, creating a unified design. In the new model to be released in 2023, the sub-dials have been changed to chestnut brown, so it's worth keeping an eye on the future of this model.
