Live Flesh (1997), a group drama about five men and women that begins with an accidental gun discharge, is directed by Spanish film genius Pedro Almodovar. The watch worn by Javier Bardem, who plays a former police officer turned wheelchair basketball player who is paralyzed from the waist down, in this film is thought to be the Omega Speedmaster Mark 40 ( Ref. 3513.53 ) .
This watch is one of several models released in 1997 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Speedmaster . It was not a limited edition, but was produced as part of the regular collection for about 10 years, so there are still many second-hand models on the market, making it a very easy watch to obtain. Among the Speedmasters, this one is known for its vivid red chronograph hands and sub-dial scales. Was it chosen to match the red of the costume? Or is this the characteristic of Spain, the " country of passion "?

Eat, Pray, Love (2010) is a romantic film based on the autobiographical essay by author Elizabeth Gilbert, which has sold 15 million copies worldwide. Javier Bardem plays a divorced man who falls in love with a female writer played by Julia Roberts. He wears what appears to be an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra ( Ref. 2503.30 ) .
As far as the image shows, there is no horizontal line engraved on the dial, known as the " deck concept ," so it is likely the first Aqua Terra, which was released around 2002 and had a flat dial. The setting in which he falls in love with the heroine is the island of Bali. If you want a watch that combines the dressiness appropriate for a romantic movie with the water resistance appropriate for a resort island, there is no better watch than the Seamaster Aqua Terra.

A lawyer with status and income steps into the world of evil without much thought. This leads to his life being turned upside down in " The Cop " (2013). With big-name actors such as Cameron Diaz and Brad Pitt in supporting roles, Javier Bardem plays a flashy businessman who tempts the protagonist down the path of evil.
He is wearing Ray -Ban sunglasses, a Versace butterfly shirt, blue pants and a white belt, a fashion that seems like the height of chaos, and is also wearing the flashy Bulgari Diagono Professional GMT ( Ref. DP42G GMT ) . This luxury brand solid gold watch, packed with design elements, exudes the aura of a truly " successful " businessman.

" No Country for Old Men " is a movie I personally love and rewatch several times a year to enjoy Anton Chigurh's performance. However, I can't help but wonder if it would have been such a masterpiece if Javier Bardem hadn't played the role of Anton Chigurh.
Even in the world of watches, encountering a rare piece or a vintage Rolex is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is not uncommon for the purchase of that one piece to change one's life. If there is a piece that is "the one!", you want to grab it as soon as possible without missing the opportunity. The more experienced watch store staff are, the more they have accumulated regrets, saying " If only I had bought that watch at that time... "
I don't want to have any more regrets like that! But I don't have the money!
Seriously, the world is out of control now...
see you!
