Rolex Sea-Dweller

The Sea-Dweller is a diver's watch with the highest water resistance from Rolex, developed as a tool for deep sea expeditions. The first Sea-Dweller, Ref. 1665, which appeared in 1967, was waterproof to 610m, the second generation, Ref. 16660, was waterproof to 1,220m, and the Deepsea was born, which made a huge leap in water resistance to 3,900m. The birth of the Sea-Dweller, which brings together the technology of Rolex, a long-established manufacturer of diver's watches, attracted a lot of attention, and as it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017, it has further established its position as the top professional diver's watch.
