The Sea-Dweller is a diver's watch with the highest water resistance from Rolex, developed as a tool for deep sea expeditions. The first Sea-Dweller, Ref. 1665, which appeared in 1967, was waterproof to 610m, the second generation, Ref. 16660, was waterproof to 1,220m, and the Deepsea was born, which made a huge leap in water resistance to 3,900m.
