The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
The early model with the red SUBMARINER logo was manufactured from 1969 to 1976.
It is commonly known as the Red Sub .
The dial is MARK5 .
The dial is characterized by the open 6 and the horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft being aligned.
The all-tritium luminous material has a uniform ivory color that gives it an outstanding appearance.
The dial condition is slightly deteriorated due to aging,
It will be in very impressive and beautiful condition.
Another attractive feature is the gray silver finish and faded ghost bezel.
Combined with the red sub-dial, it gives off a nice vintage vibe.
It's cool...
The case and bracelet have some small scratches appropriate for the age, but are in relatively good condition.
The case is fairly polished, but the lugs are thick and sturdy.
The bracelet is a later grooveless hard bracelet, but it is only slightly wrinkled.
Wrist shot!
This is an attractive piece with a ghost faded bezel and a beautiful dial!
