The Submariner "Ref. 5512" was manufactured from around 1959 to around 1978.
The difference from the Submariner "Ref. 5513" produced at the same time is that
Ref. 5513 is a non-chronometer model,
while Ref. 5512 is a chronometer-certified model.

The inscription at 6 o'clock is
660ft=200m
SUBMARINER
SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER
OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED
in four lines.

Compared to Ref.5513, there are overwhelmingly fewer of these available,
so it's recommended for those who want something unique!

The lume is all tritium.
The exquisite aged look of the hands is irresistible.
The dial condition is excellent,
maintaining a beautiful state even under a loupe.

The index lume also has a nice aging, creating a fantastic atmosphere!!

The bezel insert is also in great condition!!
The MK3 insert has faded beautifully to gray!

The condition shows age-appropriate signs of use,
but it creates a tasteful atmosphere!

The mid-case is solid, without excessive polishing.

The watch is equipped with an age-appropriate folded bracelet.
While there is some stretch and minor dents, it certainly doesn't detract from the overall feel.

There's some age-appropriate stretch, but that's part of its charm!!

The FF, bracelet, and clasp are all perfectly consistent!!

The domed crystal is also lovely!!

Finally, a wrist shot!!
The aged look is understated and appealing.
While there are age-appropriate signs of use, the dial is exceptionally clean!! That's its charm!!

Rare! Vintage Submariner "Ref. 5512" from 1970.
The 4-line Ref. 5512 dial always looks cool!!
With its excellent dial condition and superb atmosphere, this is a highly recommended vintage piece!!
Such a well-preserved 5512 should be acquired while it's available!
It will be sold after an overhaul at our affiliated workshop.
Customers looking for a vintage Submariner, please consider this one!!
