"165 Series Daytona Cal. 4030 with El Primero"
This movement is based on Zenith's El Primero automatic chronograph movement, and has been reduced in frequency from 36,000 vibrations per hour to 28,800 vibrations per hour, improving durability and other aspects.
It was produced from the R series (around 1988) to the P series (around 2000).
This is the last chronograph model from Rolex to feature a movement from another manufacturer.
If you think about it, it's a very rare model.

The market price of Ref. 16520 has remained flat for a long time,
Recently, it seems to be gradually increasing.
Recently, the availability of early models has become extremely limited.
The model we are introducing this time is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Commonly known as "reverse 6 dial"
The number "6" on the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock is inverted to look like a "9"
This is an early dial produced up to the S number, known as the "reverse 6" or "inverted 6."
It is also called "INVERTED 6" overseas. The dial is "MK4"!

The buckle is a single buckle.
This particular watch has a clasp code of "P4" and comes with a buckle that matches the age.
The initial model features:
The single buckle is an essential feature of the "inverted 6" dial.

The inverted 6 dial also features a matte SS single bracelet.
It has a more retro feel and is cool!!

The bezel is the "MK3" that matches the time period.
The condition is good with no signs of wear!

The dial is a glossy, shiny dial .
I think there are individual differences,
The dial has an attractive glossy finish that is clearly different from matte dials.
This dial, which is said to exist mainly in the E series, is quite hard to find, even if you search for it.
The shiny dial seems to have almost no cracks,
This particular item also shows signs of deterioration when viewed closely with a magnifying glass.
However, the overall condition of the dial is good.

The luminous material is all tritium!!
The condition of the luminous hands is also good!

The condition is that there are scratches and scuffs due to use,
This is a great specimen that exudes a rugged atmosphere!

The case is in good condition, reminiscent of a non-polished watch, and retains its original shape.
There are a lot of scratches from use, but the rug legs are in perfect condition!!

The single bracelet is in good condition with almost no creases!
*Frames will be full frames.
This early bracelet in such excellent condition is definitely rare!

Accessories include box, warranty card, chronometer certificate, serial tag, chronometer tag,
Daytona booklet (91), Oyster booklet (91), other official booklets, calendar (90-91),
We have it all!

The included warranty card, serial tag, and 1991 Daytona booklet are big pluses!
The retail price at the time was 580,000 yen! That's cheap!

Wrist shot!!
Enjoy the beautiful, transparent, and attractive shiny dial!
