Hello!

Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce recommended watches!

Today we have a very popular semi-vintage model of the Daytona/Ref.16520!!

ROLEX Daytona El Primero White Dial Inverted 6/MK3 All Tritium
Ref.16520 Serial.L5 (manufactured around 1989)
Cal.4030 78360/FF503 Clasp code O2
Accessories: Box, warranty card (400: Hong Kong/stamped December 1991)
SOLD OUT!!

Daytona "Ref.16520" equipped with El Primero, manufactured from R series to P series.
The item introduced today is an all-tritium piece with the characteristics of an early model!

The number of El Primero/Daytona watches themselves is decreasing,
and early models with consistent characteristics are even rarer.

Prices are generally on the rise,
so we recommend those who are looking for one to check it out early.

The individual introduced today is a one-owner item with consistent parts,
making it a rare early model, so please take a look if you are interested!!

Commonly known as "Inverted 6 dial"

This is an early dial, manufactured until around the S serial, where the "6" in the 12-hour sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position is inverted and appears as a "9", hence it is called "Inverted 6" or "Reverse 6".
Overseas, it is also called "INVERTED 6".

The Inverted 6 dial is an easily recognizable characteristic of early models, making it a strong selling point that will likely continue to be highly valued!

The most appealing point of this watch is undoubtedly its dial!

The dial is a rare MK3!
While MK1 with floating lettering and MK2 with four lines tend to get more attention,
this MK3 dial is also a rare dial that is not widely available.

Especially the white-lettered MK3 is rarely seen!

The "COSMOGRAPH" lettering is not separated, but
the serif font is the same as MK1, making it a subtly cool dial!

The dial and luminous condition are exceptionally good,
maintaining a superb state even under magnification.

A dial this clean on a watch from this era is undoubtedly rare!

The luminous material is all tritium.
The aged tritium luminous material on the white dial looks really good.

This face is truly stylish.

Here's a comparison with our in-stock 16520/MK2 (right)!!
Can you see how different the tritium lume burn is?

While preferences may vary,
the aged tritium has a unique charm that only semi-vintage models possess!!

The condition shows some scratches and scuffs from use,
but it's a good piece that maintains its original form.

The middle case is in this condition!
There is no thinning of the case due to polishing!

The lugs are also sharply defined!!

The "kamaboko" case is also a characteristic of early models!
Can you see that early models have thicker cases?
The rugged impression of the "kamaboko" case is very appealing.

The buckle is a single buckle with a clasp code "O2", matching the era.

As a feature of early models,
the "inverted 6" dial and single buckle are essential points.

The 78360/single bracelet is in good condition with almost no slack!

This bracelet condition is also one of the rare points.

The bezel is also "MK3" and matches the era.
Although there are some signs of use, it is equipped with an impressive MK3 bezel that does not show any signs of wear and tear!

The case back still has the reference sticker!!

Accessories include the box, warranty card, and Oyster booklet (91)!

The warranty card from the original retailer is also included. Although I have erased the owner's personal information, I have confirmed that it is indeed a one-owner watch.

This watch has no maintenance history, so it will be available for sale after overhaul by our affiliated workshop.

Wrist shot!!
This initial MK3!! So cool!!

El Primero Daytona Ref.16520/L5 "Inverted 6/Single Tritium"
This is a semi-vintage model that is particularly gaining momentum among Ref.16520s!!
The dial condition is exceptionally good, and the aged tritium is a charming and highly recommended feature of this watch!
It is rare to find an MK3 model with such a warranty card.
To customers looking for a good condition Daytona Ref.16520/Single Tritium,
please consider this item.
