No. 2219 - Introducing the very cool! First-generation manual-wound Daytona! Ref. 6239, low letter/small black letter, 1966, all tritium!

Today we have the first Daytona, Ref. 6239/black dial.

The first Daytona "Ref. 6239" with a stainless steel tachymeter bezel, released in 1963
Initially, there was no Ref. 6241 with a plastic bezel, and only the Ref. 6239 with a stainless steel bezel was available.

The Ref. 6239 has a wide variety of dial variations.
The model we are introducing this time is a very cool model with early features that are hard to find!

The 12 o'clock side features a small "DAYTONA" logo.
Among the many dial variations of the Ref. 6239,
The dial is rare and matches the age of this particular watch.

The three lines "ROLEX COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA" are written in
It is a low letter dial that is positioned slightly towards the center.

This ROLEX dial has the words COSMOGRAPH/DAYTONA printed in silver letters underneath the white ROLEX logo!

This is a super cool dial with a black dial and silver lettering that goes perfectly together!

The dial condition is excellent, including the sub-dials.
It is in very good condition for a car manufactured around 1964.

There is a missing index luminous element at the 7 o'clock position,
The rest is in excellent condition with no flaws.

*The hands on the sub-dial were replaced in later years.

The bezel is known as the "300 Taki" bezel, which can measure speeds up to 300 km/h.
This is also a rare second bezel!!

There are some areas of ink missing on the bezel.
It's in great condition with no signs of wear!

The condition is good, there are some scratches and scuffs due to use,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.

The middle case does not have excessive finishing.

The bracelet is equipped with a FF60/7205 rivet bracelet.

The buckle is engraved with the second period of 1964.

There is some natural crease, but the bracelet is in relatively good condition.
