The third-generation manual-winding Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988
This is a very popular hand-wound Daytona model with an attractive plastic bezel.
This product is serial number 40 and was manufactured around 1975.
The third-generation hand-wound Daytona has had a long production run and comes with a wide variety of dials.
The Ref. 6263 we are introducing this time has a dial without the Daytona notation above the 12-hour counter.
The Big Red is cool, but I prefer the original dial without the Daytona notation!!
I'm sure there are many customers who think this way.

Another distinctive feature of the early dials is the "σ" sigma notation at the 6 o'clock position.
The ages match perfectly too!
*The σ mark indicates that precious metals such as gold are used on the dial.
The greatest charm of this watch is that the sub-dials change over time.
The tropical dial has been changed to a strong brown color!!
All the subdials have turned a beautiful brown.
I just can't get enough of this beautiful tropical change.
It is rare to come across a hand-wound Daytona that changes color to brown so dramatically.
This is a comparison photo with our own Ref. 6263/Silver Big Red.
When you compare them like this, can you see how strong the brown color of the specimen we're introducing is?

By the way, this tropical dial has a nice color.
Even among individuals of the same age, some individuals change in this way while others do not.
That's an interesting point!!

The dial condition is excellent,
Overall, it is kept in good condition.
Although there is a missing part in the index luminous material at the 9 o'clock position,
The rest of the piece is in good condition with no chips, making a very good impression!!
The luminous material is all tritium. The luminous hands are also in good condition.
The color matches perfectly with the luminous index!

The bezel is equipped with a period-matching "MK1" bezel.
This is an extremely rare early bezel!
There are some scratches and bumps, but that's part of the vintage charm!

The pusher is equipped with a grooveless MK2 pusher.
This is also a rare pusher!!
The condition is overall there are scratches from use,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
The middle case is in good condition with no excessive finishing!

The bracelet is a 7835/winding bracelet.
The FF is not consistent, but the clasp engraving matches the 2nd period of 1972.
The wrap bracelet has some natural creases, but it fits perfectly on your wrist!

The accessories are plentiful!!
Box (Refseal), warranty card (domestic regular), Daytona booklet, other regular booklets,
We also have pass cases and calendars.
The best part is that it comes with a genuine Japanese warranty!

The box comes with a reflector seal!

Wrist shot!! So cool!!
Enjoy the tropical dial with its evenly and beautifully browned hue!
