The first Sea-Dweller "Ref. 1665"
This model was created in 1967 in partnership with the underwater research company COMEX!
This is one of the early models
"SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000"
This is the model commonly known as the Red Seed , as it is printed in red.
This is also known as "DRSD" (Double Red Seed Error) .

Akaseed was produced for about 10 years until around 1977.
This is a rare model that is far less common than the red sub.
Among them, the MK2 dial in good condition is extremely rare.
It's rare to see them.

The Red Sea-Dweller is divided into five types, including the prototype model/MK0, up to the MK4.
The model we are introducing this time is the MK2, which has a rare dial even among the Red Seed models.
The dial is characterized by a cute, plump crown mark.

Furthermore, this particular model is said to have an MK2 dial.
This is a rare tropical dial that has turned brown.

This is a comparison shot with the 1680/red sub MK1 dial (right).
What do you think?
When you compare them like this, you can see the difference in color!!

It's not a strong tropical dial,
The dial has a solid brown color.

This particular watch has a good dial condition and is highly recommended!
The dial surface is in very good condition.
*The hands are later tritium hands.

The condition of the index luminous material is also good, and the luminous material has changed to a beautiful cream color.

The bezel insert is MK3.
Equipped with MK3 inserts in very good condition!
The black insert and tropical dial are a perfect match and look super cool!

The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and a case that just won't hold up!!
I love this angle from the side, which gives it the charm that only a vintage model can have.
This is an early model of the 1.7 serial number,
The middle case is also a rare, thin/thin case.

The serial number is clearly engraved on the inside of the back cover of the straight logo,
The consistency is also perfect.

The condition is good, there are scratches on the case and bracelet,
The condition is good!!

The middle case is solid and not overly finished.

The bracelet is equipped with a slightly later 9315/winding bracelet!

The buckle clasp is from the 4th period of 1970.

The bracelet has some wear appropriate for its age, but it does not detract from the look at all.

Wrist shot!! So cool!!
This is a truly one-of-a-kind piece that will change over time!

A must-have for vintage watch enthusiasts: the Red Sea-Dweller/1665 MK2 1968
This is an attractive red Sea-Dweller with a beautiful tropical dial!
A Red Seed MK2 in such good overall condition is definitely rare!
