Hello!
Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce you to an attractive wristwatch!
Today, we're introducing a rare manual-winding Daytona!

ROLEX Daytona Cherry All Tritium
Ref.6262 Serial. 2.3 million range (manufactured around 1970)
Cal.727 US Rivet
Accessories: Watch only
SOLD OUT!!
It's back in stock. If you're looking for one, please consider it.

Appearing around 1970, production of the
second-generation, short-lived manual-winding Daytona "Ref.6262" ended in just about a year.
The bezel is a model equipped with a stainless steel
tachymeter bezel, similar to the first generation "Ref.6239".
Since it is a non-Oyster model, there are no major design differences
compared to the original Daytona Ref.6239, but the movement is equipped with the masterpiece manual-winding chrono movement "Cal.727", which has been upgraded to 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The dial is a black dial with "Daytona" written in an arc above the 12-hour counter.
The Ref.6262 itself is a model that is rarely seen due to its short production period,
but the normal dial seems to be surprisingly rare.

Looking at this image, some of you might be wondering, "Hmm? Isn't the Daytona logo red??"
That's an astute observation.
This is a rare dial, commonly known as "Cherry," which has a red Daytona logo.
Among non-Oyster models, only this Cherry dial has a red logo, aside from the Paul Newman dial.
Cherry dials are divided into two types, early and late, but since this is a 6262, it is a late type.

Here's a comparison shot with a 6263/black-dial Big Red.
The presence or absence of the OYSTER logo and the pushers are different, but the faces are similar, aren't they?
At first glance, it looks like a 6265 black-dial Big Red, but
there are differences in the smaller case and the glossiness of the sub-dials.

Non-Oyster manual-winding Daytonas themselves are very rare, but
this Cherry is considered a rare dial that is almost never seen among manual-winding Daytonas.
Many people probably don't even know it exists.

The dial condition is very good,
and the sub-dials and black surface are in beautiful condition.

The luminous material on the indexes is missing at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock,
but the rest remains beautifully intact.

The hands, which are age-appropriate, have a nice aging, including the luminous material.

The condition has signs of wear, but the overall condition of the watch is good!

The middle case has not undergone excessive polishing.

The bezel area is in attractive condition with no signs of dullness!
Since the impression of the stainless steel bezel is determined by its condition,
such a crisp bezel is rare!

The bracelet is a US rivet.

There is some slack commensurate with its age, but it is in relatively solid condition.

Wrist shot!!
This manual-winding Daytona with its subtle red logo is incredibly cool!

Vintage Manual-Winding Daytona Cherry / "Ref.6262 / '70"
This is a charming manual-winding Daytona with a non-Oyster case and a Cherry dial!
The dial condition is excellent and it has a great atmosphere, so we highly recommend it!
This is a rare model that rarely comes in stock,
so if you're looking for a non-Oyster manual-winding Daytona, please consider it!
