The third-generation manual-winding Daytona, "Ref. 6263," produced from around 1969 to 1988.
As the final model of the long-running manual-winding Daytona,
it is considered a masterpiece that represents vintage Rolex,
and continues to be highly popular with collectors around the world today.
It is equipped with the "Cal. 727" movement, which was upgraded to a high beat of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The screw-lock pushers improve water resistance,
and the black plastic bezel accentuates its sporty impression.
Combining a highly perfected design with practical utility,
it truly is the finished form of the manual-winding Daytona!
The unit we have in stock is the Ref. 6263 with a silver dial.
The dial features the "DAYTONA" text in red, commonly known as the "Big Red."
While the dials without this text are also popular,
the "Big Red" is a highly sought-after dial that receives many inquiries!
It is interesting that even among the same Ref. 6263 silver/Big Red models, there can be subtle differences in hue between individual pieces!
The piece we are introducing today features a silver dial with an impressive soft tone,
which is a popular variant often referred to as "cream"!!

Even for the same manual-winding Daytona, the impression changes completely between the black dial and the silver dial!!
The crisp, sharp look of the black dial is undeniably cool,
but the stylish atmosphere of the silver "panda" dial is truly exceptional!!
Seeing them lined up like this, they each have their own unique charm!
The bezel is a "MK2" bezel, consistent with the era.
It is a rare bezel with a short production period and low distribution numbers among the plastic bezels!!
The pushers are MK2 pushers.
These are also valuable original parts.
This is a fascinating piece with an excellent dial condition.
It is in very clean condition without any noticeable stains or dirt.
The lume is all-tritium.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good!
The index lume has a slight chip at the 10 o'clock position,
but otherwise, it maintains wonderful condition.
The case and bracelet show some signs of use,
but there are no major noticeable scratches, and the piece is in good condition!!
The middle case has a thick and solid appearance.
Although it has been polished,
these lugs, including the hairlines, are truly attractive!!
The buckle clasp code is "G."
This is an original bracelet with consistent components.
The bracelet has very slight stretch but is in good condition.
Accessories include the box, warranty certificate, chronometer tag, Daytona booklet (81), Oyster booklet (added later),
and a manufacturer's repair statement!
While a warranty certificate is included, the section for the serial number
has a bracelet number handwritten instead of the actual serial number.
It seems the sales staff may have made a mistake back then...
It is very unfortunate, but we do not place value on the warranty certificate at our company.
Please consider it merely as a bonus.
