The third generation manual-wind Daytona "Ref. 6263" was manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988.
This particular watch was manufactured around 1972 with serial number 30.
The third-generation manual-wind Daytona had a long production period and a wide variety of dials.

The individual we are introducing this time has a "no-name" dial, meaning there is no Daytona inscription above the 12-hour counter.
While the Big Red is also cool,
the no-name dial is also a very popular early dial.

Furthermore, this particular example is the earliest "MK1" dial, which does not have the "σ" inscription among the no-name dials.
The MK1 dial is rare and valuable among Ref. 6263s.
The dial condition is excellent, maintaining a very beautiful state even under a loupe.
It's rare to come across such a clean silver dial.
There is a loss of luminous material on the index at the 2 o'clock position, but the rest of the luminous material remains in good condition.

Furthermore, if you look closely at the subdials of this particular watch, you'll notice a tropical change.
While it's not a brown that's immediately obvious, you can clearly see a discoloration.
The subdial hands are also the original fat hands.
The luminous material on the hands is later tritium, but it doesn't detract from the overall feel.

The bezel is an inverted Z "MK2" bezel.
Although the year is slightly off, it is a rare bezel that fetches high prices on its own.

The plastic bezel, which is prone to scratches and cracks, also remains in excellent condition.

The pushers are properly equipped with grooveless MK2 pushers.
These are also rare pushers that match the era!!
Overall, there are minor scratches from use, but
no major scratches, and the condition is good.

The middle case has some polishing, but it maintains a fairly good condition considering its age.

The bracelet is an FF371/7835 folded bracelet.
The FF371 is rarely seen and gives an impression of high rarity.
The buckle clasp is stamped with a 72.2 mark.
The folded bracelet has some stretch but is in good condition.

Wrist shot!!
The plastic bezel with a silver panda dial is a perfect match!!
The outer circumference of the subdials has a beautiful tropical change, giving this piece a fantastic atmosphere.

Manual-wind Daytona Ref. 6263/Silver MK1/1973.
This is a recommended and attractive piece with a good condition MK1 dial and the rare MK2 bezel & MK2 pushers.
Early models like this rarely come in, so if you are looking for a no-name manual-wind Daytona, please consider it.
