SOLD OUT!!
The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6265" manufactured from around 1971 to around 1988
The push button has been replaced with a screw, increasing water resistance to 50m.
The word "OYSTER" is printed on the dial.
There is also a plastic bezel "Ref.6263",
This time we will introduce the "Ref. 6265" with a stainless steel bezel.
The dial is an unmarked dial with no Daytona notation above the 12-hour counter.
Big Red is cool too,
The unmarked dial is also a very popular classic dial.
Another distinctive feature of the early dials is the "σ" sigma notation at the 6 o'clock position!
There are many types of hand-wound Daytonas with the Sigma mark,
This one has a sigma marking between 28 and 32 minutes.
This is one of the earliest narrow sigma dials.
This dial is mainly seen on '71-'73 dials.
*The σ mark indicates that gold or other precious metals are used on the dial.
The in-dial has some deterioration due to aging,
The surface of the black dial is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or scuffs.
Please be advised that there have been corrections to the index luminous material.
Therefore, the price has been set attractively.
The hour and minute hands, which have responded to UV exposure, show no particular adjustments.
The bezel is a period-matching "MK1" bezel.
It's a bezel that matches its age, with markings and lettering located right up to the inside edge.
The pusher was replaced in later years and is now the "MK3" model with a grooved cylinder.
The case and bracelet have some scratches from use,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
The bracelet is a winding bracelet that matches well with the early models.
There is some creasing, but it is in relatively good condition.
The consistency of FF is off,
The buckle is stamped with the 2nd period '71 and is dated accordingly.
This particular model also comes with a replacement hard bracelet, making it a great deal!!
