The El Primero-equipped Daytona/Ref. 16520 was produced in numbers from R to P.

16520 is 200 Taki, 225 Taki, Porcelain, Step/Floating,
4 lines, inverted 6 dials, Patrizio, brown dial, P number and
There are several popular models with unique personalities that will appeal to any enthusiast!

The item we have in stock this time is extremely rare,
This is the earliest MK1/200 Taki x Floating.

"200 Taki" MK1 bezel

The tachymeter bezel of the 16520 is usually 400 tachymeters,
The earliest ones were 200 meters.
This is a rare bezel that is indispensable for early models!

"Step-down" MK1 dial

The 5-line logo at the 12 o'clock position
Only “COSMOGRAPH” is laid out one level away.
This dial is also known as a "floating" dial.

What I personally like about the MK1 dial is,
This is a letter with bold serifs.

Five lines at 12 o'clock and "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock
The serif font is so cool!!

I definitely want you to see this letter in person!!

Speaking of white lettering/MK1, there is also a very rare/porcelain dial,
It seems like there are very few of them in circulation.

At Commit, we sold the porcelain MK1 dial at the end of last year,
I don't recall a white lettering/MK1 dial being offered for sale in recent years.

The dial has only a few small scratches that can be seen with a magnifying glass.
Overall it is in very good condition.

If you look closely, you can see the natural yellowing of the white letters around the center and the outer periphery of the hands.
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all.

The luminous material is all tritium!

While many of the early models have had their hands replaced with Luminova hands,
This particular watch has a solid tritium initial needle attached.

Although there are some scratches from use, the overall condition is good!!

There are some noticeable scratches on the side of the case, but the case is sturdy.

Important point!!
The bezel doesn't look sagging and makes a great impression!

The middle case is not overly polished and is sturdy!

The edge lines of the lug feet are also sharp, giving it a great look!

Buckle clasp code is "P8"
Although it is a slightly later model, it is equipped with a single bracelet!

The bracelet is slightly wrinkled!

Accessories include box, international service warranty (2014), Daytona booklet (88), Oyster booklet,
Comes with a calendar (87-88) and chronometer tag!

The fact that the original Daytona booklet is included is a nice touch!
