Second generation GMT Master combination model "Ref.1675/3 Root Beer"
This is the first model of the GMT-Master combination, produced from around 1970 to around 1979.
From the first combination model (brown dial),
The watch features a popular brown and gold two-tone bezel.
This model (brown/golden) is called Root Beer overseas.
Although it is called beer, it is not beer, but a non-alcoholic spicy carbonated drink that is popular in the United States .
The cans seem to be similar in color.

I have the impression that the Ref.1675/3 has become less and less common recently.
Prices are also rising for specimens in particularly good condition.

By the way, the Ref. 1675/3 Root Beer is made of 18K gold with an applied crown mark,
The Ref.16753 Root Beer has the crown mark printed on it.
Basically, the Ref. 1675/3 has a matte dial,
This is the rarely seen final dial of the sunray/applied dial.

The most distinctive feature of this model is the barnacle dial.
"Barnacles"
GMT Master and Submariner models manufactured from the 1960s to the 1980s
Presence of spire-shaped upright indexes.
It is commonly called the "barnacle dial" because it looks like a barnacle on a shell.
Overseas, it is also called "nipple dial."

The luminous material is all tritium.
The condition of the luminous hands is good.
The burnt feeling is slightly thinner than that of the index luminous material,
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all.
The sunray dial has only slight discoloration.
The dial is also in good condition.

The brown dial changes color depending on the angle of the light.
This is a piece with an outstanding atmosphere, with a beautiful barnacle index that matches perfectly.

The brown gold insert that matches the age is also in good condition!!
What a beautiful color.

There are some scratches from use, but the case and bracelet are in good condition!

The middle case is in the condition you see here!
The case is in excellent condition with no visible wear.

The lug legs are also thick and sturdy.

It's cool!!

This is a rare final dial that you won't see very often!!
It's hard to find a root beer in such good overall condition these days!
