Hello!
Kaneko from Commit Ginza is pleased to introduce a recommended watch!
Today, we have an exquisite mirror dial of the vintage Explorer/Ref.1016!!

ROLEX EXPLORER
Ref.1016 Serial.13 (manufactured circa 1966)
Accessories: Watch body only
Cal.1570 FF58/7206 Clasp 68.2 Caseback 66.2
SOLD OUT!!

The 3rd generation Explorer "Ref.1016", manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990.
This is a vintage Explorer that underwent various specification changes during its long manufacturing period.
Nevertheless, the recent Ref.1016 models feel exceptionally dynamic!
It has become a highly popular vintage model that is currently in demand.

This incoming model features a rare mirror dial.
Its mirror-like beautiful shine is captivating, and it's a rare dial with an overwhelmingly small number among vintage models.
Currently, the Ref.1016 itself is scarce, but a mirror dial in top condition is even harder to come by.

Recently, the number of mirror dials that retain their luster well seems to have drastically decreased,
but this piece has a brilliant mirror dial with its beautiful luster well-preserved.

How about that?! This is a truly top-class luster!!
It's a beautiful mirror dial that can be described as such.

The dial condition is also excellent,
with no noticeable scratches or deterioration!

The luminous material on the indexes is also in perfect condition with no missing parts.
It has a beautiful patina and a fantastic atmosphere!
A brilliant mirror with this luminous condition is undoubtedly rare!!
The gold-painted logo and minute lines are also characteristics of the mirror dial!
It's a dial with a sophisticated beauty different from current Rolex models,
and the recessed gold lettering is truly magnificent when seen in person.
Furthermore, can you see that this particular piece...
has a hint of brown hue if you look closely??

This is a comparison shot with our in-stock 1016 jet-black mirror (right).
The piece introduced has a slightly brownish dial. Can you notice the subtle difference in color?

The hands were replaced later and are short hands.
The luminous material on the hands has been retouched,
but it matches the irradiation response of the index luminous material, so the atmosphere is not spoiled.

The condition shows some scuffs and small scratches from use,
but there are no major scratches, giving it a good impression.

As you can see, the mid-case has not undergone excessive finishing,
and remains solid.

A rivet bracelet is an essential detail for a mirror dial!!

The buckle clasp is from the 2nd quarter of 1968.

The rivet bracelet has a very natural stretch,
but it fits snugly when worn on the wrist!

Nevertheless, this piece has a great presence! A gilt dial in such good condition is undoubtedly rare!!

Wrist shot!!
This is an exquisite piece with a top-level beautiful mirror dial that is irresistibly cool!!
Please enjoy the mesmerizing mirror dial!!

Vintage Explorer "Ref.1016 / '66"
This is a recommended vintage model where you can enjoy a mirror dial in top condition!
It's rare to come across such a rare piece with a good dial these days!
A gilt dial in outstanding condition like this is a vintage piece that should be secured now!
For customers looking for an incredibly cool 1016 mirror dial,
we highly recommend considering it.
