It's back in stock! If you're looking for one, please consider it.
The El Primero-equipped Daytona/Ref.16520 was manufactured from R-series to P-series.
It is a very popular model with an attractive retro atmosphere that current models cannot replicate.
I often get asked recently, "What do you think of the market price for the Ref.16520/El Primero?"
Considering the high design quality of the Daytona with the El Primero movement,
I personally feel that the overall market price will gradually increase.
Currently, the market price is stable, but
there are signs that it may slowly start to rise again.
As it is a popular model that many people are paying attention to,
it will be interesting to see how it moves in the future!
The item we are introducing this time is a U9 serial number, close to the final year of production.
It is an excellent individual that I can confidently recommend, and it comes with the box, warranty card, and other accessories.
It is highly recommended.
This particular watch has a tritium-marked dial (Type 6), but
the luminous material is not tritium but Luminova, making it an irregular model.
This dial is also known as "Tritinova"!
Incidentally, Tritinova can be seen from around U6 and some A-series models also exist.
While it doesn't currently command a premium,
it's an interesting dial with a short production period!
Since it's a U9 serial, the bezel is a Type 5 bezel with narrow spacing between the "HOUR" letters,
which is appropriate for its age.
Although there are minor scratches,
there is no noticeable wear around the bezel, indicating a very good impression.
The dial is in good condition,
maintaining a clean state even under a loupe.
The case and bracelet are also in good condition,
with only minor scuffs and overall cleanliness.
*No scratches are visible on the crystal without the crown etching.
The case sides are in good condition, as you can see.
The mid-case is also in excellent condition, maintaining its original form.
The lugs are thick, and it's a sharply defined, pristine example!
The hairline finish is also in beautiful condition.
The buckle clasp code is "Z8"
The bracelet (full links) matching the age shows almost no looseness!!
This item comes with a full set of accessories!
It includes the box, warranty card (USA), chronometer tag, Daytona booklet, Oyster booklet, bezel cover, and calendar (99-00)!
Since it is a USA guarantee, you can also confirm the black notation on the dial.
Wrist shot!!
The sub-dials positioned slightly lower, the slender hands, and the thin leaf indexes create an exquisite design with a strong vintage feel!!
It is rare to find an El Primero-equipped Daytona in such pristine condition!
El Primero-equipped Daytona "Ref.16520/U9/Tritinova"
The Tritinova dial, which glows despite being marked with a "T", is an interesting dial that grows on you!
This particular piece is highly recommended as it is in excellent overall condition, including the dial, bezel, case, and bracelet, and comes with a full set of accessories!
If you are looking for a special Ref.16520, please consider this item.
