The El Primero-equipped Daytona "Ref. 16520" was produced from R series to P series.
The item introduced today is an all-tritium piece featuring the characteristics of an early model!
While the supply of El Primero Daytona watches itself is decreasing,
it is becoming even harder to find consistent, early-model examples.
Commonly known as the "Inverted 6 Dial"
It is called the "Inverted 6" or "Reverse 6" because the "6" on the 12-hour totalizer at the 6 o'clock position is printed upside down, making it look like a "9." This dial was produced up until around the S series.
Internationally, it is also referred to as the "INVERTED 6."
The Inverted 6 dial is an easily recognizable feature of early models, so
it will undoubtedly continue to be highly regarded in the future!!
The dial condition is outstandingly good,
maintaining a superb state even under a loupe.
The area around the sub-dials, which is prone to degradation, is also in good condition.
Finding a piece with an Inverted 6 dial in such beautiful condition
is quite difficult when you actually go out to look for one.
The sub-dial graduations feature the same serifs as the MK3, too!!
The luminous material is all-tritium.
The beautifully aged tritium pops against the black dial and looks fantastic!!
The buckle is a single-clasp type with the period-correct "O5" clasp code.
As a hallmark of an early model,
an "Inverted 6" dial paired with a single buckle is an essential point.
Personally, I think the matte SS single bracelet gives the inverted 6 dial
a stronger vintage feel,
which looks cool!!
The 78360 single bracelet is maintained in beautiful condition,
and is a top-quality piece with no noticeable slack!
The bracelet shows little sign of use,
and the buckle clasp remains tight.
The bezel is an "MK3" and matches the period.
The area around the bezel is also in good condition!
As for the condition, there are some minor scratches from use,
but it is overall very clean for a piece produced around 1989.
The middle case is in the condition you see here, maintaining its original form!!
It is an excellent, unpolished-level piece!!
Oh man, that’s a beautiful hairline finish!!
This is also a wonderful case that can be described as top-tier condition!
The finishing touch is this caseback sticker!!
The original sticker remains in perfectly beautiful condition!!
Accessories include the box, green tag (no serial), chronometer tag,
original booklets, calendar (88-89), and extra links (full set).

I highly recommend this excellent piece with its attractive dial, lume, case, and bracelet condition!
You don't come across early-model pieces in this top condition very often nowadays.
