A long-selling model manufactured for over 20 years, from R-serial (around 1988) to G/random serial (around 2010).
It has been a highly popular model as a representative Rolex sports watch for many years,
and one of its charms is the somewhat retro design compared to current models!
The Ref.16610 saw minor specification changes during its long production period,
but this particular watch that has arrived has all tritium on the luminous dot, hands, and index lume!
The moderately aged tritium lume stands out on the black dial,
creating an excellent semi-vintage atmosphere!!
The dial and luminous conditions are very well preserved!
The tritium lume has aged beautifully, changing to an attractive cream color!!
Ref.16610 models with such beautiful patination are highly popular,
and especially excellent examples with solid overall condition are becoming scarce.
The black lacquer dial is reminiscent of a mirror dial,
and this particular piece retains its gloss beautifully, making it a very clean dial.
The hand lume is also in good condition with no cracks found!
The case and bracelet are also in excellent condition!
Although there are some scuffs and scratches,
the condition is superb, suggesting it is unpolished.
