Audemars Piguet is one of the three major watch brands in the world.

Among them, the "Royal Oak" is a representative luxury sports watch and is an iconic model of the brand that is highly popular in the secondary market. In addition, we have a wide lineup of other models such as the "Royal Oak Offshore" and "CODE11.59".

However, Audemars Piguet will not be participating in the watch trade fair "Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024" to be held in April, so this year's new products will be released earlier than other brands.

The two-tone design with the stainless steel case is eye-catching, with a blue bezel and rubber strap, and a smoky blue dial that matches the color scheme, giving it a sporty and refreshing impression. The case is 43mm , which is quite large, but it is not a diver's model, and is water resistant to 100m . It is a rare model that is neither a diver's model nor equipped with a chronograph.

This watch is equipped with the company's core movement, "Cal. 4302" . It has been enlarged from 26.6mm of its predecessor, "Cal. 3120" , to 32mm , upgrading both its accuracy and frequency. In addition, the barrel has been enlarged, resulting in 2.5 times the torque and higher accuracy. The see-through back allows you to appreciate the beautiful decorations, such as the black 22KPG ( pink gold) rotor, Côtes de Genève, and sunburst, making this a watch that is both functional and practical.

Five years have passed since the highly anticipated launch of the CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet, and a new model made of 18KPG ( pink gold) has now been released.

A total of seven models have been announced, including two 38mm three- hand models, two 41mm three- hand models, and three models with chronographs. This is the 41mm three- hand model. The contrast between the 18KPG ( pink gold) case and the green dial is an impressive design. Although it is a new collection, you can see that it is updated every year.

Feature 2: Dial with “Signature” Decoration

The second feature is the dial decoration called "Signature". The design was adopted for the 2023 stainless steel model and was developed by Swiss guilloche craftsman Jan von Känel and Audemars Piguet. It features a concentric motif like a wave pattern on the surface of water and is applied by hand. It spreads from the inside to the outside, and more than a hundred tiny indentations catch the light and shine. Although it is not a large and noticeable decoration, it is a decoration that subtly enhances the charm of the watch, which can be said to be unique to Audemars Piguet.

Also from "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet", we introduce a chronograph model. The case size is 41mm 18KPG (pink gold) and the dial is "Night Blue Cloud 50" color. Pink gold and blue give contrasting impressions, but the grayscale of the outer circumference and the deep color of "Night Blue Cloud 50" match perfectly.

There are blue counters with grey frames at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, and an all-grey counter at the 6 o'clock position that matches the color of the inner bezel. Like the 3-hand model, it has distinctive engravings.

The movement is the Cal.4401, an integrated chronograph with a column wheel and flyback. The vertical clutch system ensures that the hands do not shake when starting or stopping the chronograph. Another attractive feature is that the movement size is 32mm, but the thickness is kept to 6.8mm. Therefore, this model, despite being a chronograph model, is kept to a thickness of 12.6mm.

The see-through case back allows you to see the beautiful decoration, including the 22KPG (pink gold) rotor, and the movement itself.

Feature 1: Smoke burgundy dial

This model combines a stainless steel case with a smoky burgundy dial, creating an impressive contrast. The dial is finished with a sunburst pattern and then coated with a translucent lacquer color to accentuate the vibrant color. The burgundy color is gradated from the outer edge of the dial, and the flying tourbillon is accented with an openwork pattern at the 6 o'clock position.

The movement is the automatic "Cal.2950". It is the latest generation movement with a thickness of 6.2 mm and a power reserve of approximately 65 hours. The hand-finished flying tourbillon carriage, visible from both the dial and the case back, allows you to see some of the internal adjustment parts.

Flying tourbillons are not uncommon in the modern watch industry, but Audemars Piguet expresses its unique aesthetic sense with this movement. It is a one-of-a-kind movement that combines high technology and sophisticated design.

The 34mm 18KPG (pink gold) Royal Oak Automatic has an elegant model with a pink dial. Pink x pink can come across as too cute, but Audemars Piguet has created a sophisticated and glamorous design.

The dial is decorated with the Grand Tapisserie pattern, a feature of the Royal Oak, and the date display is also in pink. The dial features pink gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands with a luminous coating, creating a unified finish, even though the pink color is different from the case.

Most Royal Oak models with case sizes of 35mm or less are equipped with quartz movements, but this model is equipped with an automatic movement. The movement is the Cal. 5800, which is based on a Vaucher caliber. Although it is not a completely in-house caliber, Vaucher is a reputable manufacturer that supplies movements to Parmigiani Fleurier and Richard Mille. It also has excellent specs for practical use, with three hands, a date display, and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
