I've introduced a few people in the celebrity series, but this time I'd like to talk only about soccer players!! I'm also thinking of making this into a series, so this time I'll call it Season 1 (lol)

Well, this time I'll be taking a closer look at the watches worn by players currently playing in the world's top league, the English Premier League. Please note that these are my personal picks for the best 11 (lol). By the way, I should mention in advance that I'm a big Arsenal fan!!

4. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

*profile

・Origin: Belgium

Date of birth: 1991.06.28

Age: 29

Height: 181 cm

This season, Belgium midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is the key player in Manchester City's attack, who are leading the Premier League. He is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and plays a central role in the team. In his five seasons with the club, he has played in over 200 official matches, scoring 50 goals and providing 86 assists, making him an indispensable player as the team captain. In his sixth season, he is indispensable as well.

But what watch does Kevin De Bruyne wear?

Rolex Daytona Ref.116505 18KERG

It's impressive how easily he wears the solid gold Daytona model, the king of Rolex. The market prices of not only stainless steel but also solid gold models are currently soaring. It is difficult to continue purchasing this model at authorized stores, and it is likely that the market price will continue to rise in the future.

5. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

*profile

・Origin: Portugal

Date of birth: 1994.09.08

Age: 26

Height: 179 cm

A new talent who transferred to Manchester United last season. He was named the Portuguese League's best player for two consecutive seasons, and his transfer fee was a whopping 67.7 million pounds (approximately 8.71 billion yen). And the Portuguese attacker is performing better than that amount, not only in terms of the number of assists but also in terms of the number of goals he scores, despite being a midfielder. Currently (as of April 7th) he is third in the league in terms of goals scored, leading the team.

But what watch does Bruno Fernandes wear?

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Ref.26331ST.OO.1220ST.02

This is a reissue of the two-tone color model released in 2008 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak Chronograph. The dial with the "Grande Tapisserie" pattern, which is a characteristic of the Royal Oak, exudes elegance. The three-hand type is of course popular, but this chronograph is also becoming increasingly popular.

⑥Thomas Partey (Arsenal)

*profile

Origin: Ghana

Date of birth: 1993.06.13

Age: 27

Height: 185 cm

A promising large defensive midfielder who joined Arsenal this season. He joined from the powerful Spanish club Atletico Madrid for a transfer fee of about 50 million euros (about 6 billion yen). He is such a talented player that he is compared to club legend Patrick Vieira, and is a player who will bring stability to the midfield, something that Arsenal has needed for a long time. As a Gunner (nickname for Arsenal fans), I made this choice with high hopes for the future (lol).

The watch that Thomas Partey wears is

Rolex Daytona Ref.116508 18KYG

The striped set-up is accented with a watch and necklace to really make this a statement piece.

When I looked into the watches worn by overseas soccer players, I noticed that, as expected, many of them were solid gold Rolex Daytona models. I realized once again that the price has risen so much because of its global popularity.

summary

What do you think of the introduction to the forwards and midfielders so far?

I know that my selection was a little biased towards Arsenal, but please forgive me (laughs).

Next time I would like to introduce the defenders, goalkeepers, and manager.

Please look forward to it!

see you!!
