This dial, which is made using a special finish that is a specialty of Grand Seiko, expresses in light purple the unique atmosphere that can only be felt at dawn in Ginza, where the cityscape quietly emerges in the dry winter air.
The "Ginza Grid Pattern" is an abstract representation of the various shapes of buildings lining the streets of Ginza, and is a design inspired by the grid-like structure of the city. It reflects and shines irregularly depending on the angle of the light, making it a truly artistic piece. Incidentally, the diagonally drawn grid pattern is designed so that the 12 o'clock position coincides with the north direction, which can also be said to embody the precision and faithfulness of Grand Seiko.

Like last year's model, this model also uses a case design based on the 62GS, which was called a masterpiece model among Grand Seiko models from the 1960s. The bezel-less structure makes the dial look spacious, and the Zaratsu polishing gives it a sharp, edgy design. (*Zaratsu polishing: A process used to prepare the surface before finishing the case . It is an essential processing technique for creating beautiful, distortion-free surfaces, resulting in a clear, beautiful, mirror-like finish.)
The crystal is made of box-shaped sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on the inside, so you can see the dial without reflection even in sunlight or strong light. The entire watch is crafted to highlight the beautiful dial, a design that shows Grand Seiko's commitment to quality.
3. Equipped with 10-beat high-beat movement "Cal.9S85"

The movement is the 10-beat mechanical movement "Cal.9S85", assembled by skilled craftsmen at Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. With a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and an average daily accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds, you can experience Grand Seiko's technological prowess. In addition, the back of the see-through case back is engraved with the blue lion emblem and the words "GINZA LIMITED EDITION", indicating that it is a Ginza limited model.
