The Elegance Collection is said to be a fusion of Japanese aesthetic sense, making use of light and shadow, and Grand Seiko's proud craftsmanship, and this new model has three main features.
① Dials with novel colors and functions

The most distinctive feature of the watch is the eye-catching, colorful dial. It is said to represent the scene of the sun setting over the snowy landscape of Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture, where the Shinshu Toki no Takumi Kobo, the manufacturer of Grand Seiko's Spring Drive watches, is located. Rather than being simply orange, the dial features an organic pattern.
Many Grand Seiko models have dials with relatively subdued colors, but this model with its vivid colors is quite rare. As autumn deepens, it will be an effective accent color for clothes that tend to be in subdued colors such as black, gray, and brown.
Also, while a two-tone bezel for GMT would normally be used, this watch has a novel design with a 24-hour display discreetly printed around the outer edge of the dial.

The second feature is that it is equipped with Grand Seiko's unique Spring Drive Cal. 9R66 movement, which combines mechanical and quartz movements.
This is the first automatic movement to add a GMT function to the "Spring Drive Cal. 9R65," and boasts a high level of precision with an average monthly difference of ±15 seconds. It also has a highly practical power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and is also attractive for its date and power reserve display.
Furthermore, the back cover of the skeleton case is printed with a "lion" mark and the words " LIMITED EDITION," giving it a special feel befitting a limited edition model.
