Features of the Ginza Limited 2023 Model "Ref.SBGH315"
From here, we will explain the features of the "Ref.SBGH315" in three parts.
① A dial that reflects the morning streetscape of Ginza
This model has a deep ultramarine dial, which depicts the Ginza buildings illuminated by the morning sun, and each lattice pattern has a striped pattern. Adjacent lattices have stripes in different directions, so the colors look slightly different when the light reflects off them. Furthermore, the Ginza grid pattern is printed transparently on top of the lattice pattern, making it an intricate design that can only be seen at certain angles or with certain reflections.
② Case design that inherits Grand Seiko's proud historical design
This model uses a case design based on the 62GS, which was called a masterpiece model among Grand Seiko models from the 1960s. The dial looks spacious thanks to its bezel-less structure, and the sharp, multifaceted case made possible by Grand Seiko's strength of Zaratsu polishing is one of a kind. (*Zaratsu polishing: A process used to prepare the surface before finishing the case . It is an essential processing technique for creating beautiful, distortion-free surfaces, resulting in a clear, beautiful, mirror-like finish.)
The crystal is made of box-shaped sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on the inside, allowing you to read the dial without reflection even in sunlight or strong light.
