hello everyone.
Today's topic is Patek, and following on from last time, I would like to introduce some new arrivals.
This time, we would like to introduce the Nautilus "Ref. 5711/1R-001" equipped with a new caliber (this year's Gala) and the rare limited edition 10 Days model "Ref. 5100P-001" sold to commemorate the millennium (2000).
So let's take a look.
*Please understand that some items may already be sold.
"Ref.5711/1R-001" Nautilus 18KRG
The "Ref. 5711/1R-001" was announced in 2015 as a Nautilus three-hand model made from a different material than the "Ref. 5711." The official domestic retail price at the time was around 6.2 million yen including tax. The current official domestic retail price is 6,798,000 yen (including tax). This is an impossible price now, but shortly after we started Committing, we sold several watches for around 5 to 6 million yen. Many people may find it hard to believe, but the price has risen dramatically, surprising even those who purchased them back then.
The dial is a brown-black gradient that matches the warm 18KRG (rose gold) case. Like the Aquanaut, the 18KRG (rose gold) x brown dial is a combination that exudes a calm yet mature sexiness.
I think that there are very few SS (stainless steel) three-hand model "Ref. 5711/1A-010" equipped with the new caliber on the market, but this 18KRG (rose gold) model equipped with the new caliber is even less available. This is a subjective opinion, but I think that the number of models produced is smaller than the SS (stainless steel) model. Incidentally, this is the first time that Commit has received the "Ref. 5711/1R-001" equipped with the new caliber.
Here, I would like to briefly explain the differences between the old and new calibers .
Although we are unable to determine the exact date and timing, models manufactured after 2019 have been changed from the long-standing "Cal.324 SC" to "Cal.26-330 SC."
Major changes -Has a hack function (second hand stop) - There are no more prohibited time periods for changing the date
It's now even more convenient as a watch.
The case is just 8.3mm thick, just like the stainless steel model. It fits perfectly on the wrist and is comfortable to wear. It weighs less than 200g, so you can wear it every day without any stress.
The condition is excellent with only minor scuffs on the bezel and no noticeable scratches on the case or bracelet. Of course, it is non-polished.
The warranty is still valid until 2021. All accessories are included and the box is in very good condition.
The selling price is 19,470,000 yen (tax included).
After comparing the condition and year of the model, including domestic and international sales sites, we recommend this price.
The Nautilus with a green dial made of stainless steel, which was announced as a new model this year, is said to have been in production for only one year, so it is possible that all Nautilus models will be renewed around next year.
If that happens, wouldn't production of this "Ref. 5711/1R-001" be discontinued?
The recent rise in the price of the Nautilus has been remarkable, but if you own a later model that is in good condition, I think it will be very interesting to think about the future.
"Ref.5100P-001" Millennium Collection 10 DAYS Platinum
Next up is the 10-day "Ref. 5100," a limited edition model released to celebrate the millennium (2000).
The unique case design is inspired by the Ref. 2554 released in the 1950s, and some people call it the Manta Ray . Personally, I think this case is very cool and I like the design, and the fact that it doesn't feel old at all is a testament to Patek Philippe .
At the time, it was equipped with the newly developed 10-day winding movement "Cal.28-20/220" , which became a hot topic. Until then, the power reserve of a hand-wound watch was mainly just under 48 hours (about 2 days), so a long power reserve, let alone 10 days, was a great achievement for Patek Philippe .
The case materials are as follows, and a total of 3,000 units will be released.
・YG (yellow gold) x white dial 《1500 pieces》 ・RG (rose gold) x grey dial 《750 pieces》 ・WG (white gold) x blue dial 《450 pieces》 ・PT (Platinum) × Black dial {300 pieces}
The Platinum case is the least produced with only 300 pieces, and with a black dial, it is the most popular and highly collectible model.
Of course, there is a diamond set at the 6 o'clock side of the case, which makes it stand out.
As for accessories, it comes with a warranty, certificate, millennium pass case, commemorative medal, and millennium box, making it a solid item that is also recommended for collections.
The selling price at Commit is 8,888,000 yen (tax included).
There are currently no units for sale, including on domestic or overseas sales sites, so I highly recommend it. The Platinum case is the rarest model among the 10 DAYS models, and it is undoubtedly a cool model. It's one of the models I would like to try on someday. (laughs)
As someone who knows what the market was like when prices were soaring, I think we may see a resurgence in the boom.
