This time, we would like to introduce the popular and rare [TIFFANY & CO.] double-name model that has just arrived! What's more, it is a popular model that competes for first and second place among double-name models, so don't miss it! Please read to the end!

It is no exaggeration to say that the most popular of the Aquanaut models is the tropical band model, Ref. 5167A-001.

Although it is a current model as of July 2025, it is extremely difficult to purchase it at a domestic authorized dealer. Moreover, when it is a "double name" with [TIFFANY & CO.], it is even rarer, and I think it is one of the most popular models, competing for first or second place among super popular models such as the SS (stainless steel) bracelet model "Aquanaut" "Ref. 5167/1A-001", "Nautilus" "Ref. 5711/1A", and "Nautilus Petit Complication" "Ref. 5712/1A-001".

I have seen many "Ref. 5167A-001" watches, but every time I see the "TIFFANY & CO." printed in white above the 6 o'clock position on the dial index, I can't help but feel excited. (laughs)

Perhaps it was to avoid interfering with the original design as much as possible, or perhaps there was no space, but it is placed in a modest size, but it has such an incredible presence that you will be amazed at the difference it makes with or without it! This is what tickles the hearts of enthusiasts.

The bezel and case of the Aquanaut are prone to scratches and are easy to notice, so it seems that many of them have been polished in the past. For that reason, there is a tendency to prefer watches with fewer scratches that are unpolished or close to unpolished. As for this particular watch, although it does have some scuffs and small scratches from use, it is a wonderful watch that appears to have been used and stored with care and has not been polished.

The 40.8mm case fits comfortably on the wrist, and is 8.1mm thick, making it easy to wear and match with both smart and casual outfits. The tropical band (rubber band) makes it suitable for any occasion, which is something unique to the Aquanaut. The tropical band shows no signs of wear and is long enough (over 23cm), so it is probably uncut.

The movement that can be seen through the sapphire glass skeleton back is the "Cal.324 SC" that has been installed in many models. This intricately crafted movement is simply beautiful no matter how many times you look at it.

This watch was sold in August 2015, and of course Tiffany & Co. is printed on the warranty, and it also comes with a receipt that was likely given at the time of sale. For something to be evaluated as a "double name," it is essential that it has a name written on the dial, but it is also very important that it is printed on the warranty.

It comes packed with a wealth of items, including a warranty card, a leather-like pass case, booklets, a tag with a serial number, a soft case that was likely contained in it when delivered to the retailer, and a Tiffany blue paper box that can even contain the original outer box, making it a must-have for any collector.
