The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
The Vintage Explorer has undergone various specification changes over its long production period.
This is a very popular vintage model that always sells quickly in our store.
The item we have in stock this time is the early matte dial/MK1 manufactured around 1968.
The MK1 dial has a crown mark in a font that resembles a frog's leg.
This dial is called a "frog leg" or "frog foot."
Due to its age, it seems that many MK1 dials are in poor condition, but the dial on this particular watch is in exceptionally good condition.
The index luminous material is also in excellent condition!!
Although there are cracks in the luminous hands, the atmosphere is not particularly detracted from and these are valuable tritium hands.
This watch has a good case and bracelet condition, so I highly recommend it!
The case has some polishing, but is in good condition!
As you can see, the case side is in good condition!!
7836/The wrap bracelet has some warping appropriate for its age, but is relatively sturdy.
Wrist shot!!
The burnt tritium luminous material gives this piece an outstanding look!
It's the coolest model ever!
The popular vintage explorer "Ref.1016"
This is a very beautiful MK1 dial with a wonderful tritium burn, making it a rare item!
This well-maintained Ref. 1016 is becoming increasingly rare, so don't miss out!
The overhaul has also been completed at our affiliated workshop!
If you are looking for the Ref.1016/Frogfoot dial, please consider this one.
