Red Sea-Dwellers are classified into five types.
This is one of the most popular red seeds.
This is an MK3 dial manufactured between 1972 and 1974.
The MK3 is said to have a well-balanced design between the old and new lettering specifications.
The back cover features the MK3's characteristic "straight logo" .
The inside is engraved with the last three digits of the serial number and the 1972 first period.
Incidentally, it is said that a patent for a helium gas exhaust valve was granted in 1970.
The back of the watch manufactured before it was approved has "PATENT PENDING" written on it.
After the patent is approved, the back cover of the watch is engraved with "ROLEX PATENT" .
