Hello! Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches!
Today we are introducing the Daytona solid gold model.
Rolex Daytona
El Primero equipped, reverse 6, all tritium
Reference 16528
Serial.S (manufactured around 1993)
Accessories: Main unit only
SOLD OUT!!
"165 series Daytona Cal. 4030 equipped with El Primero" This movement is based on the Zenith automatic chronograph movement [El Primero] made by Rolex, with the vibration reduced from 36,000 vibrations per hour to 28,800 vibrations per hour and improved durability.
Produced from the R series (around 1988) to the P series (around 2000), this was the last chronograph model in which Rolex was equipped with a movement from another manufacturer.
Considering that, it is indeed a very rare model.
The latest arrival is the solid YG model with a black dial.
The dial is known as the "inverted 6 dial" and was produced up to the S series (around 1993). The "6" on the 12-hour counter at the 6 o'clock position is an upside-down "9".
The all-tritium inverted 6 dial is really cool.
The 16 series Daytona has a more rugged impression compared to the 11 series Daytona.
This one is a good one with a sharp edge.
As you can see, the lug shape is thick and sturdy.
Since we have not intentionally applied any exterior finish, there are scratches on the whole product,
The bracelet is in good condition with almost no signs of wear.
There are two points to inform you about:
*There is a scratch on the BRESCOMA end piece that appears to have been caused by the locking part of the buckle hitting it.
*The glass was replaced later, so there is a crown watermark.
Daytona Ref. 16528 with inverted 6 dial.
Although it does not come with any accessories, it is an attractive piece with a slightly ivory inverted 6 tritium dial and a very impressive case!
If you are looking for the Daytona Ref. 16528 with a reverse 6 dial, please consider this item.
