The first Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665"
This model was created in 1967 in partnership with the underwater research company COMEX.
This model is known as the Red Seed , as it has the words "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red, which are found on some early models.
This is also known as "DRSD" (Double Red Seed Error) .
The Red Seed was produced for about 10 years until around 1977, but it is a rare model with fewer copies in circulation than the Red Sub.
The Red Sea-Dweller is classified into five types, including the prototype model MK0, up to MK4.
This is the MK4 with the final Red Seed dial.
The MK4 is characterized by slightly faded printing and a large crown and ROLEX logo.
The back cover features Akaseed's characteristic "straight logo" and the serial number is engraved on the inside.
The MK4 dial has two types of back cover, a straight logo and a round logo, but since this is serial number 41, it has the straight logo.
Although this particular model has a very small peeling area on the outer periphery of the dial,
The dial and luminous condition are very good !!
The luminous material is a beautiful cream color that matches the hands and indexes .
The bezel insert has been replaced in later years, but is in good condition and the luminous points are tritium.
What do you think? This face! It's cool.
The case has some polishing and scratches from use, but no major scratches; instead, it exudes a rugged vintage feel.
This smooth dome windshield is very nice. The lack of a cyclops lens and the plump plastic windshield are also part of the charm of this model!!
The bracelet is a later hard bracelet with grooves, and although it is slightly warped, it is relatively sturdy.
Wrist shot!!
This is a rugged vintage model!!
This is an attractive piece with a wonderful balance of luminous material!
The old red Sea-Dweller "Ref. 1665/MK4" is a recommended all-tritium product with a beautiful cream-colored luminous coating.
We have also set the price at an attractive price.
If you are looking for a red Sea-Dweller, please consider this one!
