SOLD OUT!!
The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
The Vintage Explorer has undergone various specification changes over its long production period.
The item that has arrived this time was manufactured around 1976 and is a later model equipped with a "hack function" that stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out.
The dial is a "Type 2 dial" that is said to have a relatively large number of burnt marks, making it suitable for the era.
This particular watch has exquisite hands, indexes, and slightly burnt tritium, and the dial is in excellent condition.
There is some rust on the needles, but this is natural deterioration and gives it an aura of vintage quality.
The domed plastic windshield also looks very nice.
The case is in good condition with no excessive finishing and the lugs are sturdy.
As you can see from the case side, it is in good condition.
There is no wrinkling of the bracelet.
Single buckle clasp cord
This is the first stamp that used the alphabet, the A stamp, and the era matches.
Of course, FF and Breath are also consistent.
Wrist shot!!
The original dial with the burnt marks is exquisite!
It's cool!
The vintage Explorer "Ref. 1016" is attractive with its exquisite tritium tanning and beautiful dial condition. It is rare to come across such a well-balanced and beautiful example.
If you are looking for a vintage explorer with a great atmosphere, please consider this one.
