The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1990
The Vintage Explorer has undergone various specification changes over its long production period.
The item that has arrived this time is a high-year model R number. 
The dial is a "5-type dial"
This is the final dial produced between 1986 and 1990.
It's a well-balanced and popular dial! 
The luminous material on the “5-inch dial” doesn’t burn very easily.
There is not much luminous tanning on this particular item either.
The color of the hands and indexes is uniform.
The dial condition is very good. 
The dial condition is good, but the case condition of this particular watch is also excellent. 
The case is in very good condition with almost no signs of wear! 
The edges around the bezel are also well-defined, making for a very impressive piece.
The bracelet is a later single/hard bracelet with clasp code "T" (around 1995), but there is no sign of fraying. 
Unfortunately, there is no warranty card included, but it does come with a box, international service warranty card (stamped October 2016), and tag.
