The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
This is a very popular vintage model that has undergone various specification changes over the long production period.

The item we have in stock this time was manufactured around 1973.
However,
During repairs at Rolex Japan in January 2018, the hands, middle case, crystal, etc. were replaced.
The dial is also a tritium dial, but a replacement dial is included.
The bracelet is also a hard bracelet manufactured around 1995.

Perhaps it would be easier to describe it as a "Ref. 1016" in near-all-new condition.

The case has been replaced so it is in very bad condition.

The case with sharp edges is really cool!!

The condition of the case is as shown in the photo, and it is in good condition with only minor scratches.

The bracelet is in very good condition with very little creasing.

Overall, it is in very good condition!!
