Hello!
I'm Kaneko from Commit Ginza.
Today, I'm excited to introduce a rare vintage Day-Date!

ROLEX Day-Date All Tritium
Ref.1802/8 Serial.19 (manufactured around 1968)
Cal.1556 FF76/Riveted Bracelet Clasp 68.2
Accessories: Watch only
SOLD OUT!!
This is a four-digit vintage Day-Date model, manufactured from around 1959 to the late 1970s.
It's a popular model known for its comfortable fit and the unique charm of a vintage watch.
Lately, four-digit Day-Dates have become quite scarce, but
the one we're featuring today is particularly hard to find, a recommended model with a smooth bezel and riveted bracelet!
The main appeal of this model is undoubtedly its smooth bezel!
At the time, the Ref. 1803 with a fluted bezel was the mainstream and very popular,
so this model has become a rare find in the market today and is difficult to acquire.

The dial features a fine cross-hatch hairline pattern,
giving it a "mosaic dial" appearance, which is a popular style.
It's a very tasteful dial that creates an elegant, vintage atmosphere!
The four-digit Day-Date models have a characteristic dial where the outer edge is recessed,
making the center of the dial appear raised.
This stepped-edge dial, exuding a full vintage vibe, is in excellent condition for a timepiece manufactured around 1968.

Look at the condition of this dial!!
It's in superb condition, flawless even under a loupe!
The lume is all tritium. The luminous material on the hands is also in good condition!
The luminous material on the indexes is also in perfect condition with no missing parts.
While there are some scuffs and minor scratches from use,
the condition is exceptionally good for a vintage Day-Date.

As you can see, the mid-case is in excellent condition, and the lugs are perfectly sharp.
The hairline finish looks great too!!
This is truly a magnificent mid-case, in what one would call good condition!

Another charm of this piece is its riveted bracelet!!
When most people think of a Day-Date, they probably imagine the President bracelet,
but the Oyster riveted bracelet has a distinct appeal.
It's a rare bracelet that combines a sporty feel with the solid presence unique to 18K solid gold,
and it's traded at a high price even on its own!!

The solid gold rivets... they're so cool!!
By combining a smooth bezel with an Oyster riveted bracelet,
you can enjoy the sporty feel of a sports model even though it's a Day-Date!
This exquisite balance is a charm unique to the Ref. 1802!!

The riveted bracelet is in excellent condition with almost no stretch!!
This bracelet condition is rare!

The buckle clasp engraving is from the second half of 1968, matching the year!
The crystal has been replaced with a domed crystal!! It pairs perfectly with the smooth bezel,
creating an ineffably wonderful atmosphere.

Finally, a wrist shot!! How stylish!!
If you're looking for a vintage Day-Date with an emphasis on individual character, you must check this out!
