Second-generation GMT-Master two-tone model "Ref. 1675/3 Root Beer"
This is the first model of the GMT-Master combination, produced from around 1970 to around 1979.
The first combination model (brown dial) features a popular brown and gold two-tone bezel.
This model is called Root Beer overseas.
Although it is called beer, it is not actually beer, but a non-alcoholic spicy carbonated drink that is popular in the United States, and the can is apparently a similar color.
By the way, the Ref. 1675/3 Root Beer is made of 18K gold with an applied crown mark,
The Ref. 16753 Root Beer has a printed crown mark.
The dial of the Ref. 1675/3 is a matte dial (excluding the final dial).
Ref. 16753 has a glossy dial.
Which root beer nipple do you prefer?
I like the crown applied!
This is a comparison photo with the final sunray dial of the 1675/3.
I think the matte dial gives it a more vintage feel.
However, the sunray's shading is also beautiful! You can compare the two now!

The most distinctive feature of this model is the barnacle dial.
"Barnacles"
The spire-shaped upright indexes found on GMT-Masters and Submariners manufactured from the 1960s to the 1980s.
It is commonly called the "barnacle dial" because it looks like a shellfish barnacle.
Overseas, it is also called a "nipple dial."

I have the impression that the Ref. 1675/3 has become less and less common recently.
Prices are also on the rise for specimens in particularly good condition.

Well!! This particular car is in excellent overall condition and highly recommended!!
The dial is in top condition, remaining beautiful even with a magnifying glass!
This dial condition is definitely rare!
The balance of luminous material on the hands and indexes is just right!
The luminous material is all tritium.
The hands have an exquisite aging that gives them a unique look.

Important point!!
The bezel is also equipped with a wonderful fade insert that gives it an outstanding atmosphere!
The exquisite fading that makes this a truly vintage piece is very appealing!
It looks great with the burnt tritium!

The case and bracelet are in good condition with some scratches from use.
It remains in very attractive condition!

The middle case is in the condition you see here!
There is no sign of the case being thin!

The edges of the rug feet are firm and impressive!

The buckle clasp is engraved with the first period of 1976.
It is equipped with a very rare hard breath.

The bracelet is in good condition and is suitable for the age with almost no signs of wear!

The accessories include a box (later model) and a punched guarantee!!
There are already very few 1675/3s with warranty cards,
It's rare to come across a piece in such good condition that comes with a warranty.

Wrist shot!!
The tritium has burned nicely!
Enjoy root beer in a great atmosphere!
