The first Daytona "Ref. 6239" with a stainless steel tachymeter bezel, released in 1963
This is an early model known as the Non-Oyster, characterized by its non-screw pump pusher.

The model we are introducing here is a very cool model with early features that are hard to find, and we highly recommend it!

The dial is a two-line dial without the Daytona notation, just like the 1st model/Le Mans.
The two lines of "ROLEX COSMOGRAPH" are
This will result in low letters that are positioned slightly towards the center.
Among the many dial variations of the Ref. 6239,
The dial is rare and matches the age of this particular watch.

Although there are some areas of the dial that are missing luminous material,
There is no noticeable damage, including the in-dial.
It is in very good condition for a model manufactured around 1965.
The hour and minute hands and the sub-dial hands have been replaced in later years,
The atmosphere is not spoiled at all.

The luminous hour and minute hands have the same illumination response as the indexes.

The "-T SWISS T-" inscription at 6 o'clock is also a charm unique to early models.

The exquisite grayish silver color is beautiful,
It exudes the unique flavor of the early model.

Wow, what a nice color.

The bezel is known as the "300 Taki" bezel, which can measure speeds up to 300 km/h.
This is also a rare second bezel!!

The condition is age-appropriate with some scratches from use,
Overall condition is good and highly recommended!!

The middle case has long, sturdy lugs.

The buckle clasp is "65th period"

It is equipped with a rivet bracelet that matches the period!

The bracelet is in very good condition with little sagging!

Wrist shot!! So cool!!
The early models have a strong classical feel and are very tasteful!

The first manual-wound Daytona 2-line/lower letter "Ref. 6239/1965"
This is an attractive example with an early silver dial featuring two lines, low letters, and -T SWISS T- inscription!
The silver color and overall condition are great and I highly recommend it.
The selling price is also attractive!
If you are looking for an early hand-wound Daytona, please consider this one!
